Inna has the most amazing home consultation room - I immediately felt comfortable; It was a chilly afternoon so she made me a lovely herbal tea before we started. Inna was extremely thorough in her questions to understand me and my concerns, and she was also incredibly informative. I’m looking forward to working with her to gain a better overall health and well being. More...

Naturopathy is the practical application of natural therapies (e.g., herbs, nutrition, flower essences, hydrotherapy, diet and lifestyle changes) supported by scientific evidence with the objective of resolving system imbalances rather than symptoms, and treating the whole person while addressing the underlying cause of an issue. Based upon defined naturopathic principles, Naturopathy follows a therapeutic order seeking the least invasive natural treatment options first.

Herbal Medicine is the oldest and still the most widely used system of medicine in the world today. It is medicine made exclusively from plants. It is used in all societies and is common to all cultures. Using plants as medicine provides significant advantages in treating many health conditions. The therapeutic activity of a plant is due to its complex chemical nature with different parts of the plant providing certain therapeutic effects.

Nutritional Medicine is based on the principle that nutrients, including essential micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), are required for the proper functioning of all biochemical processes upon which our bodies depend. Therefore, when treating symptoms or diseases, we look for the underlying causes which, although often partly genetic, are usually very much associated with nutritional and environmental factors.

If you are overweight or obese, losing weight can reduce your risk of some potentially serious health problems. Even a modest weight loss of 5-10% of your total body weight is likely to produce health benefits, such as improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels.

Whether you are a professional athlete or a dedicated daily exerciser, nutrition is important to improve your energy, performance level and assist your body to recover faster. When applying holistic health principles to sports nutrition, we aim to optimise an athlete's performance while attempting to do as little harm as possible. We consider the body as a whole; not only do we ensure you are getting enough macro nutrients (protein, fat and carbohydrates) we also focus on micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants) and ensure you are digesting and utilising them efficiently. We also consider other lifestyle factors that could be contributing to your results during training.

Food is an enjoyable part of our daily lives and choosing to eat well is the single best health insurance you could ever take out. The simplest change in diet can make a huge difference to your health. We take a holistic approach to nutrition, helping you find the right diet that suits your needs. We use software that analyses your diet, giving you a visual insight into your macro and micronutrient intake. This detailed report provides the data needed to improve your diet to help you perform at your best and recover faster.

Positive lifestyle changes can yield big health benefits. More importantly, many health issues can be solved simply by lifestyle changes alone. Lifestyle changes can be about at the amount of sleep someone is getting, quitting smoking, reducing alcohol consumption, or lowering stress via relaxation techniques and exercise. Making small changes today will improve your life in significant ways tomorrow.

Naturopathic physical medicine may include breathing techniques, hydrotherapy, exercise, or soft tissue manipulation to rebalance the body's systems, to reduce pain and discomfort, and to enable detoxification.

Flower essences are traditionally used to enhance the emotional aspect of healing. The history of using flowers to heal emotional imbalances extends back thousands of years, as far as Ancient Egypt. Indigenous Australians also recognised healing qualities of flowers and would use them as part of healing ceremonies to resolve emotional imbalances and physical injuries. Flower essences can be used on their own or in conjunction with other therapies to stimulate the healing process.
