Chris is amazing. We are so lucky to have him tutor our son each week and our son always looks forward to tutoring because Chris doesn't just bring the knowledge and the know how he brings the fun in to it as well. He is an excellent communicator and always keeps you updated on your Childs progress. He has not only helped our son in learning and understanding but he is also helping our son gain more and more confidence each week. Chris offers invaluable material to help, nurture and support our son. He is definitely a very good investment in your Childs future. You won’t find a more patient tutor than Chris. His ability to break things down and explain them in relatable terms is impressive. In 6 months he has been able to fill knowledge deficits and teach to the forward topic schedule for the term. Chris provides everything required to learn from pencils and writing book to learning tools, games and reference sheets. Chris has been a blessing to our family, removed so much stress from home and through his tutoring my son has gone from barely passing to a B+, and is enjoying math again. His confidence has increased and he is actively participating in class at school. We couldn’t be happier with Chris and I highly recommend his tutoring services. More...

Tutoring

Having Chris as my daughters Tutor has been one the best decisions we have made for our daughter. Chris has a brilliant way of teaching and understanding kids learning needs & not just for the neurotypical but also those that are neurodiverse. My daughter was diagnosed with ASD and low working memory when she was in prep, she really struggled academically which impacted her confidence. Fast forward to grade 5 when we started tutoring with Chris. By Grade 6 she went from a D or E in Maths to her first B, what a huge milestone. Not only was she doing well academically but the impact that gained on her confidence was more than we ever had ever thought would be possible. Chris had helped her not only with her Maths some English but also her Talks/Speech's. She is now in Highschool and received her first report card and not only has maintained her B in Math's but also received her first B in English. Her report card was glowing for all her subjects, and she is a model student who is well rounded. Dakota looks forward to her sessions with Chris and so do I. More...

Maths Tutoring

Chris’ concept of tutoring children is ahead of the times. He works on inner growth which then in turn helps the kids achieve because they believe in themselves!

Our son, who is in year 11 has been having tutoring with Chris Gladstone for last year for Maths and has improved his grades. Chris has made our son feel comfortable and wanting to learn more and this has given him confidence. Highly recommend Chris More...

Chris was referred to us by a close friend and as they always say a referral is often a guarantee of the best service. This has certainly been the case. My daughter is 11 and really struggled with Maths is grade 5, lost all her confidence in her ability and just hated the subject. Chris has done an incredible job in getting her engaged in learning again and building the confidence in her ability. He is able to really understand her and work with her. Happiness and confidence comes first and I can see through the first term of year 6 that my daughter has come along way already. I am so grateful we were referred to Chris, best decision ever. Thank you More...

We found Chris when we noticed our 9 year old son struggling in maths. He was bringing home Ds, showed no engagement and didn’t care. Chris has helped turn him round, maths is now his favourite subject. He is confident when answering questions and is sitting at a B. Chris has an approach that works, he’s friendly and builds a great rapport. We can’t thank him enough for his continued help and weekly tutor session. Chris is also very flexible, he responds quickly and keeps us updated on progress, goals and how he is doing. More...

Over the past six months, we have had the pleasure of Chris Gladstone working with our son, Rohan, in developing and consolidating his Maths capabilities. During this period Rohan's results have markedly improved, up from a C to an A.  Much of Chris’s work has focused on renewing and developing Rohan's confidence and self-belief in his ability to understand and solve maths problems.  It is in the area of developing self-belief where Chris’s real strength is revealed. He has a real understanding of young people and is able to effectively engage, empathize, and then build with them. We look forward to having Chris work with our son again as he progresses into his final years of schooling. More...

I have three children; two in primary school and one in high school, all of whom need assistance with their school work. Chris is able to conduct tutoring within our family home which means that the children are more comfortable as they are in a familiar environment. I have found Chris to be friendly, professional, reliable, and always on time.
Chris has been tutoring my children for over a year now and I have seen a marked improvement in their work since he started. Chris has a very friendly and easy-going nature and can easily connect with kids on all levels. He is able to judge my kid's moods and adapt the tutoring to engage them in order to get the most out of the lesson. He has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills which quickly enables him to engage with my kids and adopt his tutoring to their individual learning styles and needs.
You can instantly see Chris’s love and passion for both children and teaching and my kids could sense this immediately. They can tell that he is genuine and are more willing to interact and listen to him. I cannot recommend Chris highly enough.

Chris has worked with our daughter Jessica for the last 3 months. Jessica is dyslexic and has ADHD. Chris has the ability to relate to Jessica and she is very much at ease and having fun. His laid-back attitude and humor relaxes Jess and he has quite successfully got her to work for the entire hour. Jess looks forward to her weekly lessons. She received an award last week at school, the first in a long time, and I put that down to the work done during her tutoring sessions and her improvement in self-confidence.
It is truly money well spent

Q&As

Kids up to the age of 10-11 have a naivety and innocence about them that they , if they had the opportunity, would spend all their time playing and having fun. It really doesn't matter what age we are, if we are having fun then we are learning. The more fun they have then the more they are learning. My bottom line philosophy is "Life is supposed to be fun" so my tutoring sessions are a lot of fun. Funnily enough, the kids seem to be enjoying learning more and producing better outcomes!!!???

Every teacher has those "Ah - ha" moments in their teaching careers where their students suddenly "Get it!!!" The smile on the face and the look in their eyes is priceless....and the feeling a teacher gets at that moment is something we treasure and remember. Why wouldn't I want to look for more of those moments??

Don't believe me. Read what some of my kids' parents are saying and believe them.

Anything is possible but, for anything to be successful involving 2 or more participants then time must be spent building a good relationship. This is very difficult online.

Ensuring they are aware of what their responsibilities are to themselves and their families .
