Our cat Chad is very anxious and has never done well being kennelled until we found Jess and Furbaby Retreat. Now we pick up a calm happy cat who easily adjusts to being back home. Oscar and Veda have just had their first stay at the Furbaby Retreat and it won’t be their last. I have always had anxiety and guilt when taking them to their holiday accommodation, but not this time! I was so relieved to be able to take the cats into their room (no cages in sight!) and have a chat with Jess when we dropped them off. I also really loved the daily updates and photos. Other places have promised this but not delivered. Oscar was very nervous but I knew he was in the best hands whilst we were away, and I’m not sure that Veda wanted to come home in the end! 😉 Both cats have settled very quickly since being back home. Our two Tonkinese males indulged themselves at Furbaby Retreat Luxury Cat Hotel for two weeks recently. They were very nervous on arrival, but soon succumbed to the lure of strokes, tummy rubs and brushes. Jess and her team did an excellent job in pampering our boys - thank you Jess. We were initially worried because the suites are not large, but when we realised that the cats could climb to the ceiling, our concerns abated. There are three large play rooms as well, which the cats came to enjoy very much. The daily updates with photos were most reassuring. Furbaby Retreat is not cheap, but we would not leave our cats anywhere else now. More...

My girl Nala spent 5 days with Jess at Furbaby Retreat in the Margaret River suite. At 8years old Nala had not been away from us so was very anxious and confused on arrival. By day 3 she was more like her usual affectionate self and loved Jess as I saw on the day I picked her up. My furbaby Simba had a stay at Furbaby Retreat this week while I had a break down south. During the booking process Jess was awesome with advice about which suite would suit Simba with his anxiety. He wasn’t a happy boy on arrival after a struggle getting him into his carrier to go there. He had settled in by second day and was giving Jess head butts. He made himself at home on the top shelf so Jess put his bed up there. Whilst he enjoyed his stay, he was certainly a very happy kitten being home with me. I even let him hog my bed last night 😂. The absolutely best place to leave your fluffy friend! Jess is so amazing, caring and calming from the moment you walk in everything is so calm, quiet and relaxed from the smells to the music. We have a very anxious kitty so i was worried leaving her and going on holiday but with Jess’s daily updates and pictures i knew she was having so much fun and so well looked after....but mostly not stressed at all. Jess has been amazing with my boys! She genuinely loves her work and does all she can to make everyone (including the human) comfortable. Jess does an amazing job with my anxious older cat. I get daily pictures and videos whilst I'm away and my cat loves all the attention. If you have an anxious cat who is "weird" for a bit after coming home from boarding I can't highly recommend furbaby retreat for them. Yana and Merlin were treated to the Margaret River Suite whilst we endured moving house. They loved it. I, however, have decided that if we ever move house again, I am staying with Furbaby and the cats can do the heavy work. Jess and her team were absolutely fabulous. When other cat families call a close relative or trusted friend to care for their cats when they need help, I call The Furbaby Retreat. Without The Furbaby Retreat I would be in a state of anxiety every time I need to leave my cats for travel, moving house, or just when home gets hectic with renovations . The Furbaby Retreat is cat-wonderland with spaces designed for cats to thrive and satisfies cats instincts to hide, explore, relax or adventure! Whatever they prefer.
