Picked up a raspberry velvet cake yesterday for a birthday omg it is so delicious and beautifully presented. All their stuff always tastes so good and fresh and their staff are always really friendly and made the ordering process so easy

In my experience F&C is the best bakery in SEQ, you only have to have visited the Northgate location once to see how busy these guys are - and for good reason. I'm almost surprised the Bluewater Square carpark isn't entirely taken over by F&C customers daily :)

Coming from the UK most bakeries here seem to either supply generic frozen stuff warmed up that morning or served from the day before, the quality is few and far between - immediately the best coffee on the Redcliffe peninsula, closely followed by Neli and Cornerstone Cafe.

F&C on the other hand feels fresh and the quality of every product is no short of delicious - be it cakes, chocolate, bread or coffee! When you visit here it's an experience... the smell is enticing, everything looks great - and tastes even better, and the staff are friendly if not efficient in trying to keep the queues moving through

The only improvements I could ask for is longer opening hours, in more locations, with more vegan options, and perhaps coffee drone delivery :P More...

I would like to give a huge shout out to Jess!
She went above and beyond with her amazing customer service 🤩

Long story short, I needed a last minute (less than 24hrs notice) cake for my mother’s 50th birthday party.

On Friday morning I made a call to the Redcliffe store and Jess made phone calls and asked the chefs if they could accommodate my needs, I wasn’t able to get the size I originally had in mind but what I was offered was more than enough and my mum was delighted with her flourless choc hazelnut cake with toffee shards coming out the top 😍

despite the wet weather and many display trays were empty when i got there by 12.30ish, and many people were lining up to check out some of the scrumptious sweet and savoury pastries and cakes they had to offer upon opening day. i bought 2 sweet pastries and a hot chocolate. i enjoyed one slice outside with my beverage. was lovely! ill go home and enjoy the other.
