Five Star Outdoors

After waiting roughly 9 weeks we finally got our blinds installed by 5star. After what was initially quoted upon was not what we ended up with. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The salesman came to quote the job for both upstairs balcony outdoor blinds and downstairs in our entertaining area, from what was said to start with Laurie was very confident he could deliver exactly what we were after, only to be a start of a disaster. Through the 9 weeks before instalment we had several installers come look at the job, subcontractors, and salesman only for them to then tell us the blinds couldn't be installed upstairs. We had already had clear blinds previously and were upgrading to zip track but apparently it was too hard to do (even though someone previously had done the old ones) after having installers come out week after week wasting our time we finally had to agree upon fixed panels at the bottom and opening blinds at the top this was not ideal but settled as we thought we had no other option. The installer did a very rough job, the corners wernt cut properly, was bogged up with silicone, was not braced properly so flapped in the wind, sharp metal shavings from cuttings were left all over the surrounding areas where my children and animals play even though asked to come back and clean up for a second time wasn't done properly. The blinds wernt straight downstairs nor did the clips align, They sent installer back out to fix but the standard of work was appalling. We take great pride in our house and the work 5star have conducted does not do our house any honours. To make matters worse we were over charged, didn't receive a contract signed by both partys and everytime I rang was handballed to someone else. We spent thousands on these blinds and now my partner has to spend his time off from work fixing their messy work. The list goes on of faults I have with their work and the attention to detail is purely unprofessional. I would NOT recommend 5star outdoor to anyone and I have photos as proof. I am still waiting after weeks of being completed for warranty on the blinds and paperwork they were meant to send out a hard copy of. More...

Finally convinced hubby and got my outdoor blinds and loving them. Might need to get some cafe blinds later from 5 star outdoors too for the pergola area.

Meet with Will just 2 weeks ago, he was lovely and very down to earth. we were extremely happy with the quote and the service that we received we signed up. Even better that the roller shutters were installed 2 weeks later. could not believe it. Will was true to his word, with a 2 week turn around. had them installed today even the institution team were great to deal with. was a absolute pleasure dealing with 5 star out door living. highly recommended. 10/10 thanks team.
