I have been working with John for 3 months now and am so grateful I found him. I hadn't done personal training before but was struggling to motivate myself, and I'm so happy I found John. His set up is great and a really nice place to work out. John mixes up the sessions, so you never get bored. We have a laugh and the session seems to go super fast. John has been my personal trainer for a bit over a year now. John has not only helped me lose over 20 kilos but has gotten me to the fittest I have ever been in my 48 years. His sessions are challenging but fun and he has encouraged me every step of the way. He has also not only helped us with our fitness but also provided helpful tips with our nutrition. Have been training with John now for a couple of years.. Initially doing strength work on my own and now training with a group which make the hard slog more fun. Over lockdown he worked hard to keep me fit and strong conforming to whatever regulations we were under at the time which I really appreciated. He always mixes up the sessions and adapts the stations depending on ability and ailments, but encourages me to go that bit further when he sees me wilting. Would definitely recommend John. More...

I’ve been training with John since feb 20 post hip replacements I’m 61 and honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough He has a great set up for training always buying new equipment I train 3 times a week he changes exercises every session good mix of cardio and strength training I’ve never ran on thread mill in my life now doing this and honestly enjoy every session especially when it’s last round 🤣

I have been training with John for 8 months and have been very happy with exercise knowledge he has and the results I have been getting. John is an amazing personal trainer.
When I met him I was engulfed with self pitty and at my heaviest I weighed 121kilos.
I stuck with John because he also has his own experience with weight loss and has had his own personal results and there is nothing like having a trainer who knows the pain your going through. I now weigh 87 kilos. I used to focus on getting skinny, that's all I wanted but john's helped me realise that I'm becoming fitter and stronger! The best version of myself.
His got brilliant prices and a can do attitude. His got many other qualifications under his belt that he uses to assist with training. Has a fabulous home set up that will make you think your in a commercial gym.
5/5 stars for this man. If you want to get the most out of your experience.. this is your man.

From the first day l joined the class, John, PT, has been an inspiration in my fitness goals and the expertise and experience he has, l trust no one else. My fitness goals l have achieved has been due to John determination to bring out my best and improve not just my body but mind as well.
I have historic back pain and with that in mind, John has catered a plan fitness plan suited for me. I can honestly recommend John to anyone or everyone who wants to take up PT, you will not find a better qualified. experience trainer, who possess star quality.

Well firstly its about listening to my client. Understanding their goal and work with them about whats realistic and move towards that goal. Most people want to feel good about themselves. To feel better in their own skin and the clothes they wear. Nothing better than a clients thats exhausted but so happy in what they can achieve.

The secret to getting the body of your dream is just to keep moving. The body is a funny thing. It needs to be look after Nutritionally as well as keeping moving. Anything worth doing properly is never easy, painless or happens overnight but with enough support and encouragement the body with thrive.

The thing I love most about my job is that I get the opportunity to change peoples lives. I have worked with various clients to achieve their goals to either loss some weight, increase their cardio fitness or just to feel good about moving again.

I was working in the insurance industry for 18 years. I played a reasonable level of competition sports most of my life and I was lucky to be given a role as a conditioning coach at my club. I found the players responded well to the training and some were in better condition than at the start of the season. I loved it, the players loved it and so I studied and became a Personal Trainer and haven't looked back.

Client should decide to train with me for a numbers of reasons. I mature (46 years old) I have experience as I was 130kgs myself at my heaviest and understand what it's like to be overweight and wanting to get back to a better me. I don't ever get my clients doing exercises I can't do myself or treat my clients any less then I would be expect to be treat if I was a client. Most of all we have fun.

Services

Working together with just the client and myself to work toward their goal.

I hold various Group sessions during the week for those that prefer the energy of working out with others.

Functional training is a mixture of Cardio and Strength based workouts.
