My son has been training with Matt for many months now and loves the training and Matt. I decided a few weeks back to give training a go. I hadn’t excercised properly in years and was very anxious to start. I’m a busy Mum of three boys and Matt taught me the importance of making time for yourself. After doing a few triathlons I wanted to develop a home and gym program. Matt took the time to understand what muscle groups I regularly used and went about building a program. Matt was great in understanding my schedule, goals and most importantly any barriers that I might face. From the first meeting Matt was great in keeping me accountable but also supporting. He adapted my program on the run to ensure I met my goals and regularly checked in. I believe that to achieve things you need to surround yourself with like minded people and if your keen to hit some lifestyle and fitness goals there is no better person then Matt and eye of the Tiger fitness. Matt is an exceptional personal trainer, mentor and coach. Matt personalises and tailors the training specifically to my individual needs, adjusting accordingly and constantly changing it up. He sends me reminder messages to keep me motivated and to ensure I'm prepared for my sessions. Theres the added bonus of his ability to provide assisted stretching to reduce muscle fatigue and improve flexibility. Matt was brilliant to work with. He shows you exactly how to do the exercise, and monitors your progress, checking your form all the time. There are lots of options now for health & fitness so it can be a little overwhelming on which direction to take or what will work best for you. Matt takes away the confusion. At a consult he'll put you at ease (no judgement), listen to what you aim to achieve, run you through a few exercises to see how your body moves... the output of this is a program that's made solely with you in mind. My 16 year old was struggling with confidence, fitness and body issues. Matt has tailored a specific training program for my son. He has been given guidance on diet and fitness in ways that a teenager wont listen to anyone else but a third party! Matt has also created a consciousness that wasn’t there before in my son!
