What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding what the client wants, where and how the images will be used, what mood the client wants to convey, the brand personality and when the images are required.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Where the images be used? (Outdoor advertising, website, print ad, fine art print etc)
What mood do you want to convey?
What is the colour palette of the environment?
Describe your brand personality?
When do you require the images?
What do you love most about your job?
Solving problems. (Photographic, technical, lighting etc.)
Contributing to the business success of the client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My daughter. She was already running a successful photography business in New Zealand and I always said I admired her and envied the life she'd created for herself and her family. So she said, correctly, "well, you could do it too!"
Why should our clients choose you?
1. I have won photography competitions around the world including the World Photography Awards and the International Photography Awards.
2. I have experience in almost every photographic genre, (but I choose to avoid the stress of births and weddings.)

Clients send their products to me for product photography. I use Facetime/Messenger/Skype/Zoom to bring the client onto the set, so they can be the Art Director.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Product photography is done remotely;
Profile/Portrait photography is done at the client's location, I wear a mask, sanitise everything and don't touch anything at the client's location.
