About

I am a Counsellor and Social Worker. I have more than 20 years of experience in counselling and hold a Masters Degree in Analytical Psychology from Western Sydney University and another Master in Social Work from University of New England.

I have worked in a variety of settings, including school and youth counselling, trauma counselling, and family/parent support services. Through my experience, I have had exposure to a wide range of individuals with different presentations. I am therefore prepared to provide high quality support and treatment for issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, marital issues, family conflict, anger management, relationships and grief.

I am trained in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Jungian Analysis, Short-Term Counselling, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy and Trauma-Informed Practice. With a broad range of therapeutic approaches at my disposal, I use a combination of different modalities tailored to my client’s needs. I have extensive experience in providing mental health services and draw on this experience and my training in order to best support my clients.

I offer both short- and long-term counselling therapy for individuals with emotional and relationship issues including complex and long-standing issues. I also offer relationship & marriage counselling.
