Swiss Meringue Buttercream Course with Alison. We made a stunning array of beautiful cupcakes and learned so many different piping techniques. We went home with a gorgeous cupcake bouquet and brains buzzing with all we had learned in class. Caking Mad also have a fabulous shop and we were able to purchase all the bits and pieces to make perfectly iced cupcakes at home and all at very affordable prices. There was absolutely no pressure from Alison to do so and she kindly gave us alternatives, so we can use the equipment we already have at home. We drove 1 1/4 hours to get to the class and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again, we enjoyed it that much. Thank you Alison for a fabulous afternoon. More...

my 11Yo and I attended the cupcake decorating class. It was great fun. Alison's explanations were clear and timely, aimed at the youngest kids so they could understand. I would highly recommend Alison's classes. The only downside was that the class seemed to run out of time withthe last bit being a bit rushed. However, we did all still finish everything. Maybe some extra time needs to be allotted. Other than that everything was great and Alison couldn't be more accommodating. More...
