The team was quick to follow up, they listened to what we needed, they were efficient, and matched us with 4 tutor options for our 2 kids within 24hrs.
Our request was sent on Monday and we had 2 tutors by Friday (remotely).
I appreciated the centralisation of finding our tutors, our needs were considered (learning needs, situation, and availability) and this was taken into account as they reached out to their pool of tutors. We were also able to have a pre-discussion with the tutors to get to know them and for them to get to know us.
The kids had their first session today (kind & yr 3), the intent is to bridge the gap between remote schooling and what we can teach as parents. We shared the school's resources and that was helpful to prepare the tutors to have consistency and continuity.
There were some teething issues with technology (Microsoft Teams) but that was resolved quickly. It was to be expected during this time of transition which wasn't an issue for me.
I'm very happy with the two tutors we have engaged with so far.
