What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Creating great images involves pre-production planning stages, through to shoot execution, and post production to achieve the final product, which is a process that is stimulating, engaging and very rewarding. The foundations of composition, lighting and technique are all equally as important as listening and understanding briefs, research and constant work on the craft.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would always ask about the narrative to be told, the aims and desired outcomes from each job. Every project is unique and is searching for space amongst a lot of visuals, so executing the narrative is crucial to cutting through and directly telling your brands story through strong imagery.
What do you love most about your job?
The diversity to connect with a lot of people in various industries, and helping them to achieve the story they want to tell about their project or brand with a stunning set of visuals.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A genuine love of the craft of image making, connecting with people and companies, and telling stories through visuals.
