Jazz was incredible, from the moment she stepped into our house she saw our 3 over excited fur babies and put her great knowledge to use straight away. My husband and I were gob smacked, within minutes she had our boys under control and they were listening to her, we could not believe what we were seeing. Jazz spent so much time with us explaining there different behaviours and educating us to understand why they act the way they do, while Jazz was explaining things to us we could also see the bad habits we were doing and listening to Jazz we could see instantly what we needed to change. We have noticed a massive difference in the behaviour of our dogs in less then 24 hours of training as Jazz was only out yesterday. We can’t recommend Jazz highly enough to anybody with dogs and we look forward to future sessions with her. Beyond grateful I contacted Jazz and had our first session last week. I have had dogs my whole life but was out of my league with my 7 month old english staffy. I had other trainers that had told me tornado Tommy would grow out of attacking/biting/jumping even though I told them he won't and it was getting worse. As a pup redirection while teething didn't work, nothing I tried was and nothing I was told to do worked either as he got older. I had been told he was ADHD, along with a number of other things and for a 'behaviour specialist' I consulted he was thrown in the too hard basket. I wasn't giving up on Tommy and rung Jazz after seeing so many people recommend her on the fb community page. The first phone call was about half an hour going through all the things going on- no-one had taken the time before a session to discuss anything. In the first session Jazz explained everything in detail (no-one had done this before) and we got to work. I love that Jazz doesn't put dogs in the 1 box fits all and watches to see what will work for your dog. Tommy being Tommy definitely is not a 1 size fits all approach. Since the 1st session Tommy has not once jumped biting/ripping at clothes and has had a dramatic improvement in his behaviour overall. Whilst we have along way to go re-training, undoing what I was told by others and further learning, I am so happy I made the call and have found someone who loves what she does, has gone above and beyond with follow up to see how we are going offering further advice and is an amazing person and trainer that is so approachable with anything. Jazz was amazing. She came to help us with our 15month old Labrador Peanut. She was amazing at giving us all the right tools we needed to help stop our dogs reactivity on the leash. We adopted Juno when she was 4 months old and extremely timid. 4 months on and she has improved so much thanks to the wealth of knowledge and invaluable advice from Jazz. What do you love most about your job?
Being able to inspire educate and motivate. Teaching humans how to communicate effectively with their dogs and watching their relationship improve definitely fill my cup.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A gap in the training industry I find a lot of Dog people don’t speak human well enough to be able to articulate how in the way behind the trainee methodologies that we use. I have a really strong background in the learning and development part so that I can effectively communicate and teach you how to speak Dog.
