We are a couple who are passionate about classic cars, the way they feel, and their head-turning qualities with great conversations and 'thumbs up' wherever we go. We operate two late 1950s Mercedes Benz 'Pontons' for special events such as weddings, and their graceful lines and classic 1950s styling are guaranteed to make the day as special as possible.

What do you love most about your job?
Contributing to making a wedding or a special event just that extra bit special. Sharing our love of classic cars with others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 30+ years in the corporate world, a desire to invest time and energies together in something which we could develop jointly as both owners and drivers.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have been providing wedding services since April 2022, and now have a close appreciation of what makes a wedding car service as perfect as possible. We try to think of all the needs of the day well in advance, preparing the cars with close attention to detail. With a small fleet of vehicles, just these two late 1950s Mercedes Benz 220S PONTONS, we can offer the type of personalised service couples require.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are both up to date on the required inoculations. We are ready to practice social distancing and mask wearing should a new strain or outbreak occur.
Romantic picnics
Pick up in one of our two late 1950s Mercedes Benz 220S Pontons, and transfer to one of the stunning picnic locations located in and around Sydney, for a fully prepared picnic by Oldtimer Rides ( or bring your own ! ).
Special drives
Pick up in one of our two classic cars from and to wherever you would like to go. A great experience for that special anniversary event, or collecting someone at Sydney airport in a 1950s car they are unlikely to forget!
Wedding Car with driver
Head turning late 1950s cars providing the perfect back drop for your wedding. Graceful lines and classic features - the only wedding car operating 220S 'Pontons' in the metropolitan Sydney area. Chosen car will come adorned with ribbons, carrying cold drinks and snacks for the day.
