Heart and Help is a boutique care agency working across Perth. We are on a mission to end social isolation and loneliness in the elderly, disabled, ill, injured, those recuperating from hospital and those who live with chronic conditions. We have a fresh approach to home care as our vetted and registered support workers prioritise building genuine care connections with clients, while assisting them with social, domestic and personal care.

What do you love most about your job?
As founder and director of Heart and Help, I want to end social isolation and loneliness in the vulnerable. For my part, I created Heart and Help as a care agency to make individuals and their families' care journeys better, easier and filled with more peace of mind. At the end of the day, we are all either caregivers or will need to be cared for. I believe care - is a fundamental human right.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have lived experience with social isolation and loneliness with my friends and family and I understand how important meaningful relationships, and having a shoulder to lean on are. Having caring social support on hand, helps us gain confidence, live independently, participate in community and pursue our goals. That's why our support workers are more like friends or extended family members.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our approach is highly personalised, unlike larger care providers. The selection of independent support workers is a defining feature of the agency. I ensure support workers are passionate about their work and highly motivated to build meaningful care connections and provide exceptional service. Our mission to end social isolation and loneliness and build meaningful care connections defines all we do. Our support workers feel valued for their care services. Our clients don't feel frustrated and restricted by red tape, as they are offered more flexibility and personalised services, with built in social care.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Services are provided one on one, in person. We don't offer services remotely or online. We believe in the power of human connections and to do that support workers provide services in person. Support workers visit clients at their homes or wherever they call home and engage with clients in activities, providing personalised care.
