If talking therapy is difficult for you, Art Therapy is tailored so that you express your feelings using art materials. You DO NOT have to have a clue about art - you will just be making marks, tearing paper, moulding clay etc. You will never be judged or analysed.

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing people gain insight into themselves and then watching them transform in the most positive way into happier, less anxious, less depressed and far more confident people who can go about their lives more easily and comfortably.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked as a Social Worker and am also an Artist. Discovering Art Therapy inspired me to study further at a 'mature age'. This has led me to discover the perfect work for me - I love my job of helping people transform themselves for the better. They start therapy as one person, and leave as someone very different, having discovered the source of their troubles and found the tools to heal themselves.
Why should our clients choose you?
My qualifications are accredited. I am an older person and, in this job, life experience is as important as any qualifications. I've 'seen it all' by now and won't be shocked by whatever my clients wish to share with me. I won't judge. Also, you won't see reviews on this site, because people who post reviews are required to give their real names - obviously that is not possible with therapy clients.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I prefer to see my clients in person because this is the only way I can really provide the best materials and care. I provide everything in the way of materials at no extra cost.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I stopped seeing clients during Covid, because we sit closely together. Now that we can behave more normally, I have resumed my usual in-person practice.
Therapy / counselling
See my website gentlearttherapy where I explain exactly how Art Therapy sessions are conducted. This is like going to a Psychologist, but we don't rely on talking only. You will play with paint, clay, tear paper etc to express your feelings without trying to explain them in words. The process is designed to be therapeutic and help you to TRANSFORM yourself in a positive way.
