What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
being yourself, focusing on connection and just enjoying the process and have fun!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
what they want to convey from their photographs e.g. I want interior photos that create a sense of tranquility or I want really natural headshots that stand out from the rest
What do you love most about your job?
meeting all my amazing clients, connecting with people but most of all providing photographs my clients are truly happy with.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I found my love for photography when I was as little 8 years old. My dad had am Olympus OM-1 film camera, and i was just fascinated by the process.
I feel fortunate to have been surrounded by photo albums and tangible prints, spending hours flicking through family albums and when i was in high school you would find me in the darkroom during my lunch hours.
I love the process of how a camera works, that a moment in time can never be the same again, it’s magic to be able to record anything you want in a single image.
