Dogspeak is focussed on private consultations to assist those dogs and owners who cannot easily attend classes, either classes never fit your timetable or a group class is not a suitable environment for your dog because of their behaviour.

I worked with Tricia while looking into buying a dog and she helped me decide on an appropriate breed, recommend breeders and questions to ask them, left me with a great understanding on how to raise and settle a pup for the first few weeks and had an overall lovely and welcoming manner.

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing owners and dogs beginning to understand each other and learn to communicate effectively.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a dog many years ago for whom I needed a lot of help with his training. I eventually began studying Animal Behaviour and Training so that I could help him to be the best dog he could be and lead a happy life. I discovered there were many more that needed help and I was in a position to do that.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have been studying the science of animal behaviour and learning for 20 years. My teaching is science based and knowledge is consistent with the latest research on animal learning. I do not use harsh equipment, aversives or fear to teach a dog.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
With the use of masks and sanitiser when required, as per Govt regulations.
