How long have you been interested in magic?
I've been doing magic for about 30 years now.
Prior being a clown I did a traineeship in a children's theater company. I don't think it exists anymore.
I also spent some time working as a hypnotist assistant. That was also fun.
Children's birthday parties are just fun to entertain at.
I'm also a member of WASM-WASM stands for Western Australia Society of Magicians.

Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Shows are adapted to suit the age and number of children.
I usually carry extra props so that I can change the show if required.
I am doing traditional style children's birthday party clowning.
Normally when I arrive at a party I'm fully self contained so there really isn't much set up time except bring my props in.
I would normally start with a few games to get the children use to me and ready for a show. This part is aprox 15 minutes
After the games I will do aprox a 45 minute magic show. I like to work my way through the audience giving every child a turn to help.
My shows are a mix of magic, comedy and puppets.
At the end of the show I would first put the props away and then do the balloon animals. This part takes aprox 30 minutes.
What do you love most about your job?
It's just fun, especially watching the children laugh.
I also like just meeting so many different people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In all honesty I just fell into it.
I was asked to help out at a fair and have been getting jobs ever since.
As I enjoyed it so much I just kept doing it.
Why should our clients choose you?
If their not happy they won't have to pay.
I don't think there's that many quality children's entertainers left anymore.
The new generation just hasn't taken it on as a career or craft.
To succeed in this industry you have to be passionate.

Have done Covid-19 training.

Western Australia especially Perth doesn't have a major Covid-19 problem at the moment but am aware it could just change.
We will not be able to do shows if Covid-19 has another major break out as the number of people attending a function by Government get reduced.

Doing magic comedy shows.
I like to give all the children a turn at being the helper.
Face Painting
Painting the children's faces up to whatever they would like to be
Balloon Animals
Making balloon animals shapes out of colorful balloons
Walk Around or Roving Clowning
Great for fetes or large public events.
This is where the clown mingles with the crowd usually doing balloon animals or magic.
Great Games
Kids can be kept entertained for hours playing different games .This also can be tailored to suit the age and number of children, plus the venue size and location.
Work Shops
Work Shops can be done to teach balloon animals and simple magic. A minimum of 1 hour is required for this and it is best suited for older children.
