Kelly recently guided us with a project to transform our open plan living area - the hub of our home. An interesting space, we needed some guidance with interior design but also functionality.
Kellys unique skillset as both an interior designer and architect meant that her discerning eye saw potential I had not even considered. She considers both the bigger picture (including how the space works) and the smaller details that add a special touch and uniqueness. The bespoke cabinetry she designed was a perfect example of this. Given the living area is a shared space, she considered the needs of our whole family. There were my aesthetic “wants” that she balanced with the “needs" of living with 2 children.
Kelly is warm and personable which made the whole process easy. She really listened and took the time to get to know us, so I wasn’t surprised when she easily translated our thoughts and ideas into a lovely reality.
I am indecisive so Kellys patience and assistance was gratefully received. She made sure I felt comfortable and supported in the decision making process and provided information, images and other advice to help the process.
With her expert knowledge, contacts and industry experience, I saved myself considerable time in what would have required much online research (and more indecisiveness I imagine!) and organisation.
Kelly is professional and her communication excellent. Always keeping me up to date with the availability of products and apologetically of any delays (shipping delays are a given during the times we live in with the Coronavirus situation).
I really appreciated the opportunity to be actively involved in the project, including shopping trips together (so much fun!). It’s important to Kelly that your individual stamp and “heart” is reflected in the project - understanding that your house is your home.
It’s obvious that Kelly is passionate about what she does and it was lovely to have someone share your enthusiasm and excitement.
