My experience with Bob Wolfman has been fantastic. I’ve gotten so much better at playing the guitar and I’ve learned more in the past 3 months with Bob than all my previous years before studying with him. As an almost intermediate player, I didn’t have a lot of music theory knowledge, and couldn’t improvise very well. Learning music theory with Bob was actually fun, and he explains things that initially seem super complicated in a way that’s sleazy to understand. Not only that, but now I’m applying the theory I've learned from Bob in actual music, and being able to implement things he taught me on the fly. This has given me a ton of confidence as a player. In addition to the music theory, my chord vocabulary and licks I can play on the fly have astronomically increased as well. I can’t recommend Wolfman’s School of Music enough! If you’re at all serious about learning to play guitar, work with Bob!

I am a student of Bob Wolfman at Wolfman's School of Music. I also brought the 10 Week Guitar Course for Beginners. I have found Bob to be a very knowledgeable teacher. I like how his teaching style blends what I would consider formal musical training (reading sheet music, music theory, learning scales, etc.) with practical applications of the topics (learning licks and encouraging improvisation). On a personal level, he pushed me to maintain motivation, foster improvement, and push myself to learn more and train harder. In regards to the 10 Week Guitar Course for Beginners, I have learned more from this introductory course than I have in years of casual playing. I was happily surprised to find the course contains both guitar specific information and fundamental music theory (e.g circle of fifths, chord construction theory, chord progressions). I'm finding that the theory aspect is applicable to other instruments as well. I never thought an intro guitar course would have information that was applicable to, say, the piano
