What do you love most about your job?
Working in event decorating means that the unique, historic and characterful venues I get to work in are shown in their best light. There’s nothing like seeing a blank canvas transformed into a stunning environment for a memorable event, and, with abundant imagination in the industry, I see this unfold on a daily basis. There is nothing more rewarding than the end result: seeing people enjoying themselves; seeing everyone connect and share an experience. Knowing I put this together and made it happen, makes all the hard work worth it and that’s why I love working in events.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Bijou was created from the love of making pretty things. Beautiful, chic, romantic, organic, and lovely is what we do best!
My process begins with getting to know what is important to you on your wedding day. Starting with your theme, style, or vision and inspiration pictures, I then add in my creativity and design styling elements to execute a perfectly cohesive, unique, and personal event just for you.
