I help people to overcome obstacles in their lives by teaching them how to use the power of their Mind to reconnect with their own innate intelligence, so they can raise their consciousness and live a life full of valued meaning with a sense of purpose & belonging.Through my own journey I have learned to recognise the mind patterns & beliefs that limit us individually and collectively.

What? Journey therapy is based on cutting edge medical science knowledge, which shows that when strong emotions are repressed, certain biochemicals are released and get lodged in certain cell receptors. These cell receptors, in time get blocked, disabling communication between the cells throughout the body: the perfect Background for “dis-ease“ to take its roots, eventually manifesting as physical, mental, emotional “disruption”.

I work in an integrative way, combining various modalities, such as inner child work, CBT and I introduce elements of Jungian psychology into my sessions. I work with issues such as anxiety, depression, navigating life changes, low self esteem and i work with my clients to find out who they really are so they can lead a happier and authentic life.

Deirdre Coyne, MIACP & MACI Hello, I am Deirdre Coyne, counsellor and psychotherapist working in both Dublin and Galway. I believe that I will be able to help you in your recovery through the experience I have gained over the last number of years and through the understanding I have of severe trauma. I have an energetic and positive attitude and a common sense approach. I will help your to be positively self-aware while being sensitive and empathethic.
I enjoy working with people and having many years working in the HSE, I am eager to share my knowledge and experience with people who want to learn more about themselves.
I love meeting new people and working with you to manage challenges that you meet in your life. I enjoy the commitment of working together to help you understand yourself better and to support you to become more skilled in getting the best out of your life.
I was struck by how much COVID-19 has been a particularly stressful time for many of us and that now is a time when we are questioning things that we used to take for granted. I believe this is a time where my experience can really add value. Using this I can support you to identify and acknowledge your strengths and work with you in developing the skills and understanding to face difficulties that you meet.
With many years of work experience, I believe that I have a lot to offer adults who may be living with different issues or who wish to explore their own psychological processes.
Not initially. I feel that the personal relationship is central to therapy and that it is important to meet face to face to build this. If I know someone and they feel comfortable to work remotely once trust has been build, then we may agree to work remotely at some point.
I ask people to complete a form detailing their symptoms prior to their appointment. I also wear a face mask if they are not fully vaccinated. I sanitise the office before and after each appointment and ensure that there is good ventilation. There is a 15 minute gap between appointments also.
