I found Buds after years of kennel stays for my last two Weimaraners. Now on my 3rd Weimy that we rescued at two years old and being his 3rd home, he was petrified of the kennel. He met Shaunna and felt comfortable with her within minutes. Shaunna did a couple visits with him herself and then introduced a few Buds to our boy. We have used Buds now for over a year for daily visits and overnight stays and they are absolutely awesome! We recently had to go out of town on short notice and Shaunna and her team were beyond accommodating. Buds is our go to whenever we go away. We have hired them for walking on several occasions, and to stay overnight on 3 occasions. We know our pups are in good hands. We had Buds look after or fur and feathered babies while we were away on our honeymoon, and I was absolutely impressed with their service - from the initial meeting all the way through to our return! ! Buds have gone way above and beyond my expectations. I couldn't walk my two husky/akita mixes by myself as they always competed with whose in front of the other. I can now walk both dogs with a loose leash and they are always looking at me for commands. When we first requested the service they worked with both dogs separately in order to get the dogs comfortable with them and get to know their good/bad habits. They asked us what we wanted out of their service and presented a plan on how they would go about it. This was not what I expected. My dogs are beyond excited when they go for their walks and have developed a true relationship with Tori. If your dogs are your family, you'll understand how important this is to us. I'd give them a 10 star if I could!!! More...

I love Buds! The owner and staff are amazing! I have met many of them at various events as well as have had them caring for my fur crew for over a year now. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and it is wonderful to go away and have no worries about their care. This has become especially important since my one cat recently developed diabetes. My husband loves Buds because when we are away I am not a nervous wreck! We also use them for mid day visits for the pups on long work days so there is no guilt about bored dogs doing a potty dance! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about pet behavior and can help curb bad habits while walking your pup. The owner is extremely involved In the local community and gives back by sponsoring events and raising money for local shelters and rescues. If you are looking for someone to care for your four legged family member(s) when you are not able, Buds should be your go to without a doubt! More...

Everyone at Buds takes such good care of my dog. And I’ve been fostering for about a year now and Buds has been so amazing with the foster dogs. Each one is different and the walker helps them get used to a routine, walking on a leash, and any other things that specific dog might need to learn. We love the staff at BUDS! They are super friendly, genuine pet lovers and take excellent care of my lab pup. Their portal is easy to use for scheduling and they are very responsive. Recently, I was in a jam and needed last minute pet care...thankfully, BUDS came to the rescue! They leave feedback immediately after each visit that you can access in the portal or email so I can rest assured that my pup is looked after. My dog LOVES and adores the staff and looks for them every time we walk past their storefront on Church St. I have tried many pet care providers over the years....this group is truly top notch. The people at Buds have been taking care of my special-needs pets for many years, and they are the only reason I feel comfortable traveling. I don't have to wonder. My animals WILL get their medications, they WILL get fed their prescription foods exactly as I ask, and they will be happy and playful and contented when I come home. Thank you Buds!!!!!!! We have 6 cats. One is on meds for his thyroid, another has Diabetes(we found that out in July). Our normal sitter was leary on giving the meds about a month before our trip. We are so grateful for Buds, they came recommended by Valley Vet. We met with Shaunna and during the Meet & Greet the diabetic cat was very present through the whole visit. We were breathing a sigh of relief. When we left for our trip, we knew our fuzzy children would be well taken care of. When we arrived home, the six were all happy & healthy. We started using Buds in February 2018. I was extremely nervous to start a service like this, as my furkid means the world to me. It was great to do the in-home meet and greet with Shaunna, who took the time out of her day on a Sunday to come meet our pup. The service has been wonderful, and attentive to our pup's needs! They have totally exceeded my expectations in every way. The app for communication is a wonderful touch, and they leave great status cards of each visit so you can know exactly how your dog did! Shaunna and the Buds team took care of our pets for 10+ years, from dog walking to field trips to petsitting and overnights. This team knows how to care for pets of all kinds, ages and personalities. But more than that, this team loves them like their own and takes genuine pleasure in making them comfortable and happy. So many times I came home to see that extra touch. The litter area extra clean. Somebody newly brushed. A little note about a cute thing that happened. Even a trip to the pet store when the food ran low and an emergency vet visit when one was critically ill. I recently moved out of the area and had the unfortunate task of finding a new service. I've found someone to feed the cats and scoop the litter but it's just not the same. Buds is one of a kind, second to none and any pet who enjoys their service is a lucky one. More...

I cannot recommend Shaunna and Buds high enough! My dogs count the minutes until they get picked up and whisk away for a day of fun and adventure at the farm. We actually have to spell out Shaunna's name or risk a flurry of excitement at the mear mention of 'Miss Shaunna' or 'going to work'. Shaunna is beyond professional in everything she does and her love and knowledge of animals is readily apparent.
