What do you love most about your job?

One of the benefits of being a tree surgeon is the opportunity to work outdoors and enjoy nature. I appreciate the fresh air, the beauty of the trees and the environment, and the chance to work in different locations. I love helping trees thrive and ensuring their health and safety. I prune branches to remove dead wood or create a more attractive shape, or I remove a tree that poses a hazard to people or property. Knowing that I’m making a positive impact on the environment and the community can be very rewarding.

What inspired you to start your own business?

"I was inspired to start my own tree surgeon business because of my love for nature and my desire to make a positive impact on the environment. I've always been fascinated by trees and their role in our ecosystem, and I wanted to find a way to contribute to their health and preservation. After years of working as a tree surgeon for other companies, I realized that I had the skills and knowledge to start my own business and make a bigger impact. I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with trees every day and help my clients maintain healthy, beautiful trees that will last for generations to come."

Why should our clients choose you?

"Many of my clients choose my tree surgeon business because of the unique combination of experience and personal attention that I provide. As a sole proprietor, I'm able to work closely with each client to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their goals. Additionally, my background in forestry and my years of experience working alongside my father, who was a respected tree surgeon and forester, have given me a deep understanding of trees and their ecosystems. This knowledge allows me to provide expert advice and care for trees of all types, from pruning and maintenance to removal and disease management. My clients appreciate the personal touch that I bring to each job, as well as the peace of mind that comes with knowing their trees are in good hands."

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

To protect both myself and my customers from COVID-19. First, it's important to follow all local guidelines and regulations related to COVID-19, including social distancing and mask-wearing requirements. I communicate clearly with my customers about the precautions, taking to ensure their safety.

When working on a job site, it's important to maintain a safe distance from other people on the property. I ask customers to stay inside their homes or maintain a safe distance while I work. I also wear a mask at all times and wash my hands frequently. If working with a team, I make sure that all team members are following the same safety protocols, and avoid sharing equipment or tools as much as possible.

I also offeri virtual consultations or estimates to limit in-person contact. Finally, it's important to stay up-to-date on the latest COVID-19 developments and adjust your safety protocols as needed to protect both myself and my customers.
