My main goal at the start of the process was to lose body fat and feel more comfortable in my clothes again but I also wanted to feel confident in the gym and start to enjoy exercise again.

I used to be very active and exercise didn’t feel like a chore for me but I got out of a routine and started to dread the thought of going to the gym or going for a run. This resulted in me gaining weight, feeling lethargic and feeling pretty rubbish about myself and how I look. I knew I wanted to make a change but I didn’t know where to start. I found myself setting goals and plans for how I was going to get back in shape but there is so much contradicting advice online that I would stick to it for a few days and then second guess whether the effort I was putting in was actually going to pay off and I would therefore end up quitting and falling back into past habits.

I chose Dilan as a coach as I needed to take the guesswork out of losing weight. Dilan was very quick to respond when I first enquired and this remained true throughout the whole programme. On our initial call I liked that he focused on making this a lifestyle change not only with exercise but with food, sleep and overall well being and not just an extreme diet that can’t be maintained.

Dilans approach was perfect for me. He explained the process, had a plan in place and made it clear that I was going to be made accountable for reaching my goals and he was there to support and guide me. Accountability was a huge part that made this experience achievable as I knew that skipping a gym session or not reaching my step target would be noticed by Dilan and he would question it. Throughout the 16 weeks Dilan has been excellent at answering any questions I have accurately and promptly. Dilan has also been great at keeping me motivated at points where I felt deflated and despondent. We talked through how I was feeling and Dilan adjusted my programme to suit it and pushed me to keep going.

It sounds trivial but I can now walk into the gym and confidently finish a workout without feeling intimidated and out of place- I actually now look forward to going to the gym, which is something I thought I would never say. I have surpassed my expectations about how much weight I can lift and really enjoy pushing myself to see how much further I can go.

My partner has seen the biggest difference in me, I am less tired, much happier, more confident and he has been really impressed at the dedication that I have shown to the programme (because previous attempts have only lasted a week). My friends and family have all commented that I have lost weight and look healthy and happy.

Overall, training with Dilan has had an enormous impact on my life as a whole and I have achieved all of the goals I had hoped to. I now have the tools and the motivation to continue a happy healthy lifestyle and I couldn’t have done it without Dilans help. Thank you so much!

From my first contact with Dilan he was polite, encouraging and professional. He explain everything so I understood what was required from my part and was very patient with me when I had problems with the technological side of things. Being a mature client I sometimes found using the technology more challenging than the actual diet and exercise! Dilan approached everything in a very calm and understand manner and I achieved my weight loss goal easier that I thought I would. After years of not working out, and heavy long shifts at work I felt like my health was deteriorating and constantly gaining weight.
Having experience in the past with working out I tried to get back to exercising as if I had never stopped, and I was frustrated with the lack of results, if anything I gained weight out of frustration.

Having seen some of Dilan's previous results I thought I would give him a try, being my first ever PT I didn't know what to expect and I was very sceptical and didn't feel like my current situation would ever change and that I couldn't reach my goals.

Well, let me tell you how wrong I was.
Dilan found time to meet me at work and work his time around my schedule which I thought was amazing, it showed that he really cared about his clients and that he was happy to accommodate himself to fit my busy schedule.
We spoke about my goals and what I wanted, he was professional and quick with his delivery and I instantly knew I wanted him as my PT.

I started seeing results almost instantly, the personalised diet plan (that he changes weekly to keep you excited about your food) and workout plan were perfect and fit my schedule perfectly.
3 months down the line I had lost 14kg, gained muscle mass, and probably the best result of all was the change in my mental health. I feel calmer, more relaxed and happier.
Never overlook the benefits working out and exercises will have on your whole body.

I went from not knowing if I had time to workout, to working out 6days per week and it still fits my busy lifestyle

I'm stronger, healthier and happier and would recommend Dilan as a PT to everyone at every stage of their health, from complete gym novice to pro athlete.

With enjoyable physical activity, there are so many ways for us to exercise. I want to help you find a form of exercise you’d enjoy, or at least not hate! Whilst advising you on how to tailor it to your goals to make it time efficient so that you are not having to spend countless hours at the gym.

My coaching is 100% online. If my clients wish to train at a gym it is at their own risk, otherwise we can set you up with a training program at home.

Clients looking to do strength training or hypertrophy will most likely need to have access to a gym or a fully equipped home gym with sufficient weight to progressively overload.

Quick and easy meal plans

I will personally create a quick and easy-to-follow meal plan, to meet all of your dietary needs,
while taking care of tracking all of your calories and micronutrients.

I will take into consideration any dietary requirements such as:
● Vegetarian diets
● Vegan diets
● Lactose intolerance
● and more

Have all of your meals planned Monday right through to Sunday.

Your meal plan comes with tasty and easy recipes as well as a full shopping list with everything
you need for the week!

If having your meals all planned out for you is a little too restrictive. I can work out all of your
calories and macronutrients for you and then you can go on to make your own meals you love
and enjoy. The Optimum Whealth app will help you stick to your daily targets.
