Q&As

I help my clients reach their fitness goals by offering a trauma-informed approach to training. This means that I prioritise creating a safe and supportive environment, where my clients feel comfortable and empowered throughout their fitness journey.

I start by understanding their unique needs and experiences, taking into account any physical or emotional limitations they may have due to trauma. I then design a personalised programme that is tailored to their individual goals, both long and short term.

Throughout the training process, I continuously communicate and collaborate with my clients, ensuring that they feel heard and respected. I provide options and choices during workouts, allowing them to have control over their fitness journey.

I also integrate techniques that promote mindfulness, stress reduction, and emotional well-being, recognising the mind-body connection and the impact trauma can have on both physical and emotional health.

By offering a trauma-informed approach, I create a space where my clients can not only work towards their fitness goals but also find healing, resilience, and empowerment. Together, we create a positive and transformative fitness experience.

If you have any more questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!

One of the things I love most about my job is the opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives. It's incredibly fulfilling to help others achieve their goals, overcome challenges, and improve their overall well-being. Seeing my clients grow stronger, gain confidence, and make positive changes in their lives is truly rewarding.

I also enjoy the creativity and problem-solving aspects of my job. Every client is unique, with different needs, abilities, and goals. This requires me to constantly adapt and tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. It keeps me on my toes and challenges me to think outside the box, which I find both exciting and fulfilling.

I was inspired to start this business because of my own personal journey as a trauma survivor. I understand first-hand the challenges and barriers that trauma survivors face when it comes to accessing fitness and exercise that is trauma-informed.

Having gone through my own healing process, I realised the transformative power that fitness can have on one's overall well-being. It not only helps to strengthen the body but also the mind and spirit. However, I also recognised that traditional fitness environments can often be overwhelming, triggering, and retraumatising for individuals who have experienced trauma.

This realisation fuelled my passion to create a safe and inclusive space where trauma survivors can feel comfortable and supported as they embark on their fitness journey.

Because when it comes to weight loss, I have been there and done it. Not just a stone or two but a big weight loss journey. I understand how much of a emotional rollercoaster losing weight and getting fit is. It can be tough but I also understand that with great support, knowledge and guidance, it can be an easier journey.
