V professional and motivational but also with a good sense of humour helping to make training fun. I've been training with HoopJ now for circa 18 months and am stronger, and more flexible than ever. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant online hiit classes. Tough at times but a good challenge and can feel the results after a few weeks. If you want a workout that pushes you then totally recommend hoopj!

Jono aka Hoop J just makes exercise more fun and for me that’s what it’s all about.... I want the results, I want to feel like I’m making progress (big tick on both fronts! ) and am willing to put in the work, but I just don’t want it to feel like a slog to get there...... and that’s where HoopJ comes in - he mixes things up to keep it fresh, he focuses on form but makes it fun (can’t be his Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions!) - all in all can’t recommend enough! When it comes down to it, everything centres around results. Jon delivers these 100%. I can’t recommend him more. I wasn’t really big but I had hit an all time high weight and was just flabby. I needed a catalyst to change. My initial goal was to lose 1.5 stone, I lost just over 1 stone but gained energy, strength and muscle. All my clothes fit like they had before, better in fact. My wife loved it.
My suggestion would be to set the goal, let Jon build you a plan and if you commit to a course and follow his guidance you will get results.
His style is very patient, knowledgeable and motivating.

What I think is great about HoopJ is the full range of exercise you get from his program. It's full body, 6 days a week and everything from Kettlebells to HIIT. I wasn't doing any bodyweight exercises before HoopJ, but it has helped with my overall mobility and I have really enjoyed doing it.

I would definitely recommend.

... although be warned, you may hear him singing from time to time!

I started HoopJ fitness classes during lockdown and it has been a game changer. I was using pre-recorded classes on apps, but joining Jono and my classmates every day online is so much more motivating. The classes are varied, there are options of Bodyweight only or Weight/band classes, and the comradery is fantastic. I’ve made some great friends who I’ve never met! I highly recommend HoopJ for anyone starting or continuing their fitness journey (it’s perfect for all levels). More...

I’ve been an avid Hoop Jer for twelve months. It very quickly became the energising way to start my day and vital to both my physical fitness and mental resilience during lockdown.

Jon, aka Hoop J, has designed the six energising Zoom sessions for diversity of movement over the week. From Monday morning dynamic flow, to full body conditioning, Hiit, strength and seriously sweaty Saturday session.

I love the fact he changes up the workouts every time - the surprise keeps it interesting and challenging. He’s great at keeping you focussed on your form throughout.

It’s motivating to see my improvements on the fitness tests Jon sets and timed love-to-hate ladder finishers. And I’m so much more flexible and strong for all the pre and post workout stretching. Something I’d always neglected despite years of regular gym going.

The sense of virtual team Hoop J has grown is amazing. I’m really excited about real life one-to-one sessions and meeting up with fellow Hoop Jers.

It’s been game-changing. Highly recommended.

I was recommended HoopJ via a friend who had been joining his Zoom classes during lockdown 1.0. I immediately felt at ease. ..Jono is super approachable and took time to understand my goals and tailored workouts to accommodate a couple of injuries I have. Having the flexibility to join live workouts (which have great camaraderie and variety) or complete via the recordings has also been great as fitting exercise around work/life can be difficult.

Offering personal 1:1 sessions face to face and online / remotely - whatever suits you best.

I will adapt the training plan to what you like, and what you need in order to achieve your goals; mixing between HIIT and strength training - using bodyweight, dumbell/kettlebells, boxing gloves, skipping rope, or whatever you have available at home if doing remotely.
