About

Hi I’m Dan. I’ve worked as a holistic PT for over 4 years now and have been involved in sport all my life. I gained valuable experience working on the floor with chains such as David Lloyd & Anytime Fitness.

I created my own business during the pandemic (The Park PT) which recognises the importance of improving your health span, whilst also providing an alternative and more eco-friendly way of training in an outdoor environment.

Dan’s a very knowledgeable and motivating trainer, not only on exercise but inputting on nutrition, & also setting stretches etc. one can do at home with an app.

Also training in Battersea Park is great. i usually have an early morning & sometimes evening after work session twice a week and its great to be outside, can’t see me going back to an indoor gym. Should add Dan has all the weights / mats with him.

I worked with Dan after experiencing back pain for a number of years. He made a full and thorough assessment of my pain and provided me with a strength program that was able to not only improve my pain through increased mobility and strength but has also helped me to reach my other fitness goals. The program was top-notch and super specific to me and my goals and I'm now feeling stronger with a lot less pain. Dan is always so charismatic and really pushes you to hit your targets and stay on top of things. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a truly excellent quality PT and one you can have a laugh with in between sets! More...

I have been working out with Dan for over a year and he has exceeded my expectations. With him you get the full package. He is a great listener and will tailor your regimen according to your own goals, will adapt any exercise to target specific weaknesses, and even if you have feel low or simply unmotivated he gives the extra boost of energy so that you can not only meet your goals but exceed them. He will also give you diet and over health tips that you can incorporate easily in your daily routine. He is a great motivator even on a grey cold day where you just feel like staying in bed! I've had Dan as my personal trainer for over a year now and I can't recommend him more. Not only is he a lovely person so always fun to do a session with, he has exceptional knowledge and experience in fitness and strength training and knows exactly how to adapt my sessions to suit me. I've seen a huge improvement in my strength and mobility, feel better in myself and have more energy and confidence.

Dan's sessions always go ahead whatever the weather and you can count on him to motivate you to get out there in the fresh air - I feel fab after!

Dan is a phenomenal, trustworthy PT who takes his clients very seriously. I am severely dyslexic, so I was very nervous when approaching my first PT class, Dan took the time to understand me and how I could best train, and because of that I now really enjoy our sessions. I’ve had great improvements to my fitness since I started PT sessions with Dan. My exercise was always inconsistent and I was coming from a fitness level of zero and with Dan’s sessions it was the push I needed to start!
He is knowledgeable and sessions are individualised to your level and work towards your fitness goals. With his friendly and supportive atmosphere he’s helped me build up my fitness level and enabled me to perform exercises I never thought I could do!
I am always motivated to go to our morning park sessions and can say that he’s helped me make exercise part of my daily routine.

I had never had a PT before now but decided to start working with Dan following an injury. Each session is tailored to my specific needs, and I now feel stronger than I ever have before. Dan strikes the balance of helping to improve my health and fitness whilst also being realistic about commitments of life. I love having the sessions in the park for the endorphin boost of being outside but also Dan creates a far more welcoming and less intimidating environment to some weight rooms at the gym. More...

Dan has helped me reinvent my relationship with exercise, food and myself. He’s transformed my attitude to what is a healthy lifestyle and has passed on life long techniques on how to continue a sustainable and happy approach to fitness.

He’s super knowledgeable, approachable and empathetic but isn’t afraid to hold you accountable or give you a kick up the bum which is definitely what I needed!

If a client comes to me wanting to lose body fat - I provide them with the education on total daily energy expenditure (TDEE), what calorie deficit means and an accountability sheet with tailored targets to complete outside of sessions.

To learn what your relationship to nutrition & exercise is and how you can implement a strategy that focuses on your goal i.e to lose body fat, a calorie deficit and high protein diet is imperative.

Being able to instil lifestyle changes to all of my clients to help them achieve their goal.

The Pandemic. Gym's were closed and there was nowhere to work out. I took it upon myself to create The Park PT and provide an alternative way of training while gym's were closed.

Whether it's because you don't like going to the gym, it's too far, or you have no idea what you're doing in there - The Park PT is here to guide you to your goals. This eco-friendly way of working out is 1-1 and will provide you all the tools you need to stay consistent and learn sustainable habits.

I offer my services both online and remote. I provide this through a platform called TrueCoach
