Was visiting Aberdeen and a good seafood restaurant, this place had great reviews. I got the 3 course lunch which included a starter, main and dessert. The Cullen skink starter was so flavorful and delicious, best part of my meal. I ordered the seafood platter for an additional £10 and it was alright. Half of my clams and muscles were empty and although they give you plenty I have had better. I got their cheesecake of the day which was peanut butter and that was sooo good. Beautiful food, I had th scallops followed by the salmon. The salmon was a generous portion size. The staff were friendly and were only too happy to accommodate my dining companion who has a couple of food allergies. Nice wine list too.

Amazing evening at Bistro Verde last night. As usual the food was incredible! Fresh ingredients and a Chef who understands just what to do with food! As expected we had lots of amazing fish but one of our party went rogue and had the steak which we all sampled as it was incredible!! Really bad service, we did not get what we asked for, they waiters where stressed, we only ordered a main course, it took sn hour and 30 minutes before it arrived and the food had no flavor, taste, and we finally wanted to pay that took almost half an hour, really bad experience!

My husband and I ate here last night for the first time and could genuinely not fault anything. Lovely, quaint place with amazing seafood and wine! The waitress we had was very attentive and professional (even when dealing with a rude, obnoxious vegan on the table opposite). We would however like to see something more familiar on the menu for those who aren’t too keen on seafood as there was not a great deal of options for my husband. First time here at BV and I have been absolutely blown away from start to finish. Wonderful decor, amazing attentive staff, the owner and the waitress have looked after us from start to finish, and most importantly the food, I think I can safely say this has been the most enjoyable meal I’ve had in such a long time, truly delicious, you can tell a lot of time and care has been put into the food. Had lunch with partner today and was very impressed. Two course lunch for £13.95 per head. We both had the Salt & pepper Calamari and it was cooked to perfection with a finely balanced salad. Also had the Fish Pie for main and neither of us could finish due to size of portion, Packed full of Salmon ,Sea Bass and a couple of Prawns. Pie was cooked fresh and roasting hot.
