Where to begin?! From the offset Ciara made us and our families feel so so welcome and this was the case anytime we visited. Needless to say we fell in love with the venue straight away and Emma and Paul’s eye to detail, and love for this venue is so apparent. Throughout planning, especially with planning a wedding with ever changing restrictions, Ciara was always on hand to reply to emails/calls, answer any queries and offer advice. Nothing was ever too much bother and we were able to make the venue our own by adding our own personal touches. Ciara’s friendly, relaxed, approachable, yet efficient nature allowed for smooth planning and a seamless day. Old Rectory team were impeccable and friendly with their attention to detail through the day not going unnoticed by our guests who sung their praises. Our day was truly topped off by our stay in the beautiful Old Rectory itself and it really was so special to wake up to our first day as Mr and Mrs surrounded by both of our families with a beautiful hamper which we all tucked into. Old Rectory, Killyman was the only venue we visited and we knew straight away it was where we wanted to get married. We just fell in love with it instantly- the barn, the beautiful gardens, the garden pavilion, all the little quirky touches and the team. Every time we visited it just kept getting better and better. The tepee and pond are fantastic additions. Due to Covid our original date in April 2020 was cancelled, like many others we were devastated but Emma and Ciara could not have been more understanding and supportive as we rescheduled to new dates- there was a few 🙈 When the law changed in June 2020 to allow weddings to go ahead again we phoned one week and got married the next. We had the most special outdoor ceremony with 9 guests on 09/06/20. Emma, Paul and Ciara again went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. We will always be grateful for this ❤️ No wedding is complete without a party so we finally got back to celebrate our wedding 18/09/21 and what a day we had. Lots of guests messaged to say how amazing the venue was and how much they enjoyed their day. I would definitely recommend any engaged couple to check out Old Rectory, you will not be disappointed. Old Rectory Killyman is such a fantastic wedding venue! The gardens are beautiful and spacious with lots of outdoor space to enjoy your wedding reception! The teepee gives more coverage outside if it rains and there is the lovely barn to step inside and enjoy the ambience too! We had the most amazing wedding reception! The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating! We found the accommodation and venue clean and well looked after! Our main point of contact was Ciara who is fantastic! We had the pleasure of having our wedding at the Old Rectory, Killyman in July 2021. Ciara, Emma and Paul were so helpful throughout our planning. Every time we visited there was a new project finished or underway. The team offered an exceptional service and worked so well along side our vendors. The beautiful surroundings offered an exclusive experience for our guests, with many of them still commenting on how amazing the day was. covid may have meant that we didn't get to celebrate at Killyman on our wedding day but with the help of the amazing team there we were able to have a proper celebration in July 2021. Ciara and the team made our reception day so special, as if it was our wedding day. Our guests were blown away by the venue and the staff service. We felt so special and this venue is like no other in NI.it offers the perfect balance between formal and relaxed celebration spaces and is great for kids too as they get to explore the grounds. Oh what a day and what a venue!! 26/08/21 was our 3rd date and it was definitely worth the wait! The Old Rectory family were so supportive to us throughout all the changes and drama of covid restrictions. We are from the local area and the short distance meant we had plenty of time to enjoy the venue, indulge in all the delicious cocktails and mingle with our guests! The venue is tucked away in an idyllic setting and offers couples exclusivity and flexibility to make their day unique. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough! Given the uncertain and stressful times of COVID mixed with wedding planning (a venue change and many date changes) they always put our minds at ease and assured us we would have the perfect day regardless of the situation. Ciara was so helpful throughout all the planning which we were very grateful for. We both enjoyed every single minute of our wedding day and Emma, Paul and Ciara made it run smoothly, with many of our guests commenting on the exceptional level of customer service. Everyone at Old Rectory Killyman, made our day one to remember. Due to COVID, we ended up switching venues very last minute. We are so glad we found The Old Rectory when we did and continually asked ourselves why we hadn’t booked there to begin with. The Old Rectory made the change very smooth and allowed me to hand over any worries to them. Everyone in the team couldn’t do anything more to help us have our day. Phone calls and emails were always replied to instantly and with great clarity. Old Rectory Killyman was the first venue we visited and straight away fell in love with it and just booked our wedding there. I can't even describe how amazing the venue is and how helpful everyone was, especially when we had to re-schedule our wedding bascically a day before our wedding catching Covid both me and my partner😔talk about bad luck. Well, there was no issue at all we got a new date straight away nothing was a problem not a single thing. Ciara was super helpful and understanding and she always kept me at ease, it turned out to be the best day ever, it was just meant to be, we couldn't ask for a better day. All of our guests complimented on how amazing the venue is, close to home and everyone felt as ease and had so much fun. Paul also took many of our guests home which was such a bonus. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough. A week later and our guests are still talking about the amazing venue and how stunning everything was. Paul, Emma and Ciara were brilliant in helping us to co ordinate our day the way we wanted it- nothing was too much trouble.
