What I love most about my job is seeing people happy and having fun enjoying themselves dancing to the music. This is what attracted me to becoming a DJ and I'm as excited today performing as when I started.
I originally started as a DJ in 1980 with Le Chic Mobile Discotheque which was a multi-op entertainment business. A year later I bought my own mobile DJ equipment - turntables, mixer, speaker and lights - and started my mobile and wedding DJ business with two of my friends. I still love this business and the opportunity to make people happy through music and entertainment.
You should consider choosing me for your music entertainment as I have many decades of experience, have trained with top international DJs and I know how to bring the party to your wedding or event. You and I can work during each of the stages of planning your wedding or party so that everything goes as perfectly as possible. A wedding or party is supposed to be fun and relaxing, so I consider it part of the job to play the role of coordinator to grant you the freedom to sit back and enjoy. All equipment has complete backup in the van so that if any primary equipment at the venue should fail, there is the peace of mind that the party will not suddenly stop. You also get experience in sound engineering and lighting design, having worked with some of the top people in the industry producing shows at some of South Africa's biggest venues.
No I wouldn't suggest providing my services online or remotely although I have done many streaming DJ shows online, both locally and internationally.
I have been fully vaccinated and all equipment, including the backup equipment, is disinfected. In addition all microphones have been mounted on stands (normally would be hand held) and have a brand new foam cover for everyone who needs to make a speech.
