I can't recommend Serra enough as an exceptional and experienced massage therapist.  To begin, her online booking service is simple and convenient and I was able to book a same day appointment.  I felt both relaxed and inspired while she worked my body, paying specific attention to muscles in my back and neck that were really in need of some releasing.  Today I feel like a new person. This woman is a miracle worker! I came in with a really painful knot in my back under my shoulder blade and I am healed! Ok so she has a nice separate space at her home for massages. She has some friendly dogs and she is accommodating if you don't want them around, I was fine though. I requested the deep tissue massage and she was able to find multiple knots, ones I didn't even know I had. Her techniques are amazing and you don't get the routine massage where they repeat the same stroked 50 times. She tailors her techniques to your needs. I now have my full range of motion back. Serra is the best!  She is a true muscle relaxing ninja!  Her studio is very pleasant and relaxed, with a cute 4 legged friend.  The experience is more like going to a trusted friends house for some muscle re-education vs. a very aesthetically focused spa.  Her prices are beyond bargain for what she is providing.  I generally have paid double to have someone lightly rub my back for an hour, which for me, provides little value.  She is focused, attentive, and quickly finds what needs to be done to provide muscle relief.  If you are an athlete or simply someone who finds themselves frozen on a keyboard all day, she can make your muscles feel like brand new.  I highly recommend! Serra is great. Used a Yelp coupon and booked online. Easy process and my body was excited for the day. And when it came, I was thrilled by what I found under Serra's fingertips. Her knowing touch found all my knots and knew where the tension was pooling and why. She's the first and only masseuse I know who starts with massaging the legs. Too bad there's not 6 stars.  That's what I would rate Serra Wobbe!  I've had professional massages from several providers and Serra is absolutely at the top of the list.  Booking the appointment online was easy enough and there is a note from her to assist you in finding her address.  This was my first appointment with Serra and from the moment I met her I felt like I was meeting someone with a Spiritual Gift before our session even started.  By the time my two hour session was over my feelings were confirmed.  The room was warm and accommodating and Serra gave me the choice of music to listen to.  I let her pick and she did very good.  During the massage Serra was totally professional in her draping techniques.  Even though I'm two hours away from her I totally intend to make a trip to see her from time to time.  Great job Serra!  My best recommendation to WobbeMassage...... I had such a great time getting my massage! I do plan on going back - I had some problems in my neck, shoulders, and low back and definitely felt less pain and more mobility after the massage! She's super sweet and very personable! There is a cute dog involved so if you have allergies or just not a fan of four legged friends you may want to ask her to put the dog away or make accommodations! I've had massages everywhere but Wobbemassage was different - she really listened to my concerns and I love that she used coconut oil as massage oil! See you soon! More...

Serra gave a great massage. I prefer deep tissue and recognize when a masseuse is feeling out and problem solving instead of just going through a rubbing routine. I have travelled to many big city and pay lots of money for massages at beautiful spa, 100% of the time massage work is not good at all.  I paid for their view.    My family and I took a road trip to New Orleans after a long ride on the road my body needed a good massage.  I didn't want go to any fancy spa that look good but massage work is NOT good.  Serra is a wonderful massage therapist! I highly recommend her to those who looking for a good skillful massage therapist and great pressure.  From therapist to anther therapist I truly appreciate her work.   I found her through yelp, I felt a little uncomfortable at first but after I read her story on her website I gave her a chance.  Again thank you Serra!  If you ever travel to North East I hope you stop by to see me in Frederick, Maryland. I decided to take on bike week... lol I have ridden for over an hour everyday this week. But I was in a lot of pain. Serra literally had me speaking in tongues this morning during my massage. I scheduled a massage with Serra because I work as an RN in an emergency room and as expected, end up with sore muscles and achy joints. I found all these great reviews on yelp and decided to try WobbeMassage myself. Let me tell you, it was like going through a taffy puller in the best way possible. She kneads and pulls and works your muscles in a way that leaves you walking out feeling like a cooked spaghetti noodle. There were so many little extras that set her apart from other spas. She used hot moist towels on my back and feet, laid a hot pad on my back while she massaged my legs, used a hot eye mask on my eyes.. And ended it all with a light face and scalp massage. The room is cozy and comfortable, the table is absolutely wonderful to lie on. The only thing missing, really, is a bucket under your face to catch the drool as she makes all those problem areas feel like they were never there. Serra is amazing! More...

I contacted Serra because my shoulder was in a lot of pain from a chronic condition. Within one session I was already feeling the relief and results from working with a professional massage therapist. Serra took the time to get to know me, what my needs were and made me feel very comfortable. The first thing I noticed was that the massage table was uh-mazing! The room was clean, attractive and had a very relaxing vibe. When the massage began, even though she was working on my painful shoulder I was still in heaven. If felt like the hands of an artist were reshaping my body and putting me back together again. She knew what she was doing and I could tell she was passionate about her work.Afterward she had a cold bottle of water waiting for me and I used the restroom which was located inside her house but the bathroom was also clean and cute. After a few stressful weeks and an overly enthusiastic tubing trip, my neck and shoulders were in need of some attention. I contacted Serra about making an appointment and thought it might be sometime in the next week . Oh no, she fit me in for the very next day!  A very professional email confirmation followed shortly after the appointment was made. When I arrived Serra offered me a bottle of water and had me fill out a short intake form. I told her about my neck/shoulder concern and she took me back to the massage studio. The lighting, music, and overall energy of the space was wonderful and I felt super comfortable and at ease getting onto the table. Serra provided just an overall amazing massage. She worked hard on my 'problem' area, but also gave relief to built up tension in my legs and feet that I hadn't been fully aware of until the stress was worked out! Serra's attention to detail - including checking in on amount of pressure being used - made the experience even better. I like a good amount of pressure and Serra delivered! She artfully used heated towels, a heated eye mask, and delightful smelling essential oils to really take the massage to another level. After I was through I felt (and am still feeling) mega-relaxed and rejuvenated. I've had a number of massages in my day and, without exception, Serra of WobbeMassage provided the best service I've ever had. I have had massages from other licensed massage therapists (LMTs), but Serra is hands down (no pun intended) the best massage therapist I have ever experienced. You might wonder- does being licensed automatically make one a great massage therapist? No. As with doctors or any health professional, LMTs are required to have license to practice. And as with doctors, or any health profession, there exists a low end and a high end of the bell curve. On the LMT bell curve, Serra is like in some freakish 99.9 + percentile on the high end. She is like the Stephen Hawking of massage therapy, and she's also like Rembrandt- some incomprehensible combination of scientist and artist. She has a unique ability to tailor your session to provide the correct therapy to heal those spots which require special attention. I have a bulging disc/degenerative disc disease in my lower back with mild-moderate (but consistent) chronic pain, and Serra's sessions provide me great relief for my condition, not to mention an awesome massage all around. There must be some kind of Voodoo magic in her hands!Whether a massage tailored to provide relief to a specific area or a massage to help you relax overall, Serra can provide both! More...

Serra has that magical touch you want in a therapist.  Her very skilled hands will work out the knots thoroughly but without hurting.  When she moved to New Orleans away from me, I was lost.  I still haven't found a therapist that matches her skill after several years of her absence.  She comes highly recommended.
