Ryan did a great job. We ended up being quite a bit older than the other participants on the bus. Ryan made sure that we enjoyed our time and was very attentive to our needs. Fun experience!

Went on the Saturday Sampler Tour 5:45-8:30 pm on 8/24/19 and had a great time! Very informative on the bus and at each of the 3 brewery's we visited. We tried 4 beers per stop, but if you asked to try another type they will oblige. Was not a fan of craft beer before this but definitely I am now. They give you a spinach pie to eat which everyone seemed to enjoy.Highly recommend doing this while in Portland, ME. More...

Looking for a great way to start off your Saturday brunch? Jump on The Maine Brew Bus for some early morning craft beer tasting. Our guide Shea made us feel welcomed and had an excellent knowledge of the local area including all of the craft breweries and their beers. Shea made it fun for everyone by interacting with all of the riders and even playing some beer trivia. We did 3 stops, Bissel Brothers, Foulmouthed, and Goodfire, each had its unique styles of beers and vibes / atmosphere. First I should start by saying that I cannot recommend this tour enough. Seriously it was very well done and you get to try a lot of beer. We did this brew tour for a bachelorette party this past weekend. It was 10 girls, the brides mom and two aunts. We were accompanied by our tour guide Shea and Drivin' Ryan. We stopped at 3 places: Bissell Brothers, Foulmouthed and Goodfire. Our stop at Bissell brothers was first and we got to go in before the place even opened so that was cool. The beer was good and every stop you got to hear a little about each brewery and what made them different from the next. Obviously the group gets a little tipsier as the stops go on and Shea and Ryan were awesome with us the whole time. Shea is like an encyclopedia of beer facts so we did some fun trivia during the driving potions. PS on one stop they tour provides snacks. Everyone is my group was obsessed with it. It was some kind of local quiche pastry and it was amazing. Apparently we do it have anything like it back in Massachusetts lol. I highly recommend this tour! More...

Had a fantastic time on the Maine Brew Bus this weekend. We decided to check out MBB for part of our bachelorette festivities and checked out Moderation Brewing, Flight Deck, and Stars and Stripes Breweries. The tours were easy and flexible and we had a lot of fun at all of our stops (the beer was great too)! The biggest props go to both Christian (our guide and beer expert) and Fitchy (our admiral driver) for being so tolerant and patient with us haha. We did the Beerunch tour with Nate and it did not disappoint. We're locals, but figured it would be fun to go on a guided tour of some of our favorite spots. Even though we had been to all of the breweries before, the brew bus gives you a cool inside look at how the different breweries were started, the different methods they use to make beer, and some good stories about the people who make the Portland beer industry so awesome. Counting the amount of beer we were given, the awesome tour guide experience, and estimating what it would have cost to Uber between all the spots, the brew bus is an exceptional value for tourists and locals alike. This was such an amazing tour! We had Nate as our guide and Doyle as the driver. They bother were incredibly nice and polite and Nate was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Portland and also about all of the breweries we went to. The breweries themselves were really nice and very different than anything we have back home. All were very relaxing environments but on the tour they really taught you a lot about the different beers that they make there! Everything about it was honestly really great and if you're in Portland and want to have a great experience with beer I definitely recommend this tour bus! I don't even like beer; these tickets were more for my fiancé and I ended up liking one so much I bought it there! So again would 100% recommend! More...

This tour was great! We did the Saturday night "The Beast of the yEast". While we didn't get to see the inside of a brewery, I learned a lot about how beer, mead, lager & gin is made and got to taste a lot of different types of drinks. Nick and Mitch were awesome. So down to earth, very informative and most importantly... a lot of fun! The places were very close to each other and everyone seemed to know each other, which was really cool. This is my 3rd trip with them. Mitch and Nate were great. I live in the area and could go to each place by myself but it is great to go with a group, be driven and have tour guides who are not only knowledgeable but like to make sure everyone has a great time. AWESOME tour of breweries and distilleries!! They take a refurbished school bus, which is actually comfortable. Zeus & Nate were GREAT at explaining the city while we drive to the stops. The breweries the pick are always tops! We got a tour through one of the working breweries!  LOTS of samples & great information. My friends treated me to the Maine Brew Bus for my bachelorette party this past weekend. These brave girls are not craft beer drinkers like me. And we all LOVED the tour. Zeus, our guide, was so funny and personable. He helped guide my friends to find beer they actually liked (and all of them found one). The snack provided was excellent and perfect to help fight odd the effects of 10 am beer drinking. We went to Bissell, Foulmouthed, and Bunker Breweries. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this to people going to Portland. And book early - we bumped into another group that evening who tried to take the same tour but couldn't get in. Really - do it! I recently had the pleasure of riding the Maine Brew Bus with some professional colleagues. It was so much more informative than I had expected. Our driver (Percy) and tour guide (Zeus) made the evening fun, informative and interactive. We learned about the history of the Maine Brew Bus' owner's vision and entrepreneurial spirit to bring Maine people and tourists to Maine's expanding brew scene, from well established breweries to small, newer budding ones. It was striking to see this contrast and to experience the tastes of each. Our tour even included a visit to a Gin producer. We tasted, we toured, spoked with producers, learned about history, laughed, and ate wonderful pie! Thank you Zach and crew for such a great night! We enjoyed the Sunday Funday tour today with Julie and Goose. The were incredible hosts! They even helped us with a few recommendations for our remaining time in Maine. We toured Island Dog, Cellar Door Winery and Bunker. All were welcoming and informative, especially Island Dog.
