My husband and I started working with Jamal back in August of last year. I weighed 105 lbs with intentions of gaining weight. From the beginning, Jamal mentioned he was not a fan of the weight gain pills or powders. But he did not provide us with a meal plan. The plan we were told was to “eat eat eat”. And to drink a weight gainer shake everyday from a wholesale nutrition store. We were supposed to have our weights monitored, never did. Never got a true meal plan with actual meals and things to gain weight. I literally just got a link for the some CB weight gainers this morning and we’ve been working out with him for 5 months. In that time I have LOST weight, not gained it. I’m 34 and weigh less than I did when I finished high school. Maybe Jamal is good at training people to lose weight but he did not help me gain the weight I wanted. As a matter of a fact, now I have to gain the weight I lost with him back, just to get back to my starting point. He’s not consistent with his times. And cancels too much as well. I told him my concerns, and instead of taking some accountability, he put it all on us. I just feel like I’ve wasted a lot of money these past few months. I would not suggest someone who is attempting to gain weight to work with him. And if you want a consistent schedule, I wouldn’t suggest Jamal for that either. More...
