Mushin Ryu
You have to go and see the school. It is not an MMA place, but you will learn a lot about Okinawan history, traditional weapons, and much more. I do not know about MMA, but you can do this for life. Do not worry about getting bit, you will learn the rigth way. If you consider yourself a martial artist this is what you are looking for. Street self defense approach. Great school. My husband and I visited 4 dojo/academy in the area before choosing Okinawa Kenpo Mushin Ryu. The Rivera family provide maritial arts classes to all age groups, starting at age 4. They also provide Zumba to the community, 3 nights a week. This is a fun, exciting, family oriented karate dojo.
