Anger, Sadness, Fear, Hurt, Guilt, and Shame, and then dismantling negative self talk at the root cause. While it does not change the past, it re-contextualizes it thereby helping the client to see the past for what it was, accept and heal from it...not allowing it to control them in the present and wreak havoc on future choices.
