Security Guard Services
There is a vast difference in residential on-site security services that many other security providers do not take into consideration. Our agency focuses on the community policing theory to help in developing a strategy for fostering trust in the client’s communities. Our safety agents commonly conduct foot patrols, stopping to introduce themselves to the people they encounter so that the residents have peace of mind that the property management company is providing the highest level of safety and security for all that live there.
Our safety agents work with various types of sites, including gated communities, homeowner’s associations, section 8 housing authorities, apartment complexes, or campgrounds. Prior to starting a contract, we will conduct a security risk management assessment to determine the needs of that client. Depending on the size and needs of the property we can readily provide bicycle patrols, marked patrol vehicles (not employee personal vehicles), or a combination of both to better serve those needs outlined in the risk assessment.
Special Event Security Staffing
Kansas Metro Safety and Security Services Safety Agents patrol the grounds of special events venues to protect against terrorism, theft, and other illegal activities. They observe special event attendees ensure that they are abiding by the laws and rules of the venue. Our Special Event Safety Agents commonly may work at sporting events, concerts, conventions, county fairs, parties, or other large events, especially if alcohol will be consumed or to maintain a drinking perimeter in beer gardens.
Our Special Event Safety Agents are available in a wide variety of different tasks within a certain venue. For instance, they may be stationed at various posts throughout a special event venue. Some sit at a security desk and check attendees’ tickets or credentials. They may also search bags or other belongings that are brought into the venue for contraband. In some cases, they may monitor electronic surveillance equipment to ensure that no one is violating the law or rules of the venue. In addition, they commonly are used to patrol the grounds of the venue, providing attendee safety, providing immediate care for anyone injured, and maintaining social distancing when applicable. They observe attendees and may detain anyone who is in violation of the law or venue rules.
Mobile Security Patrol Service
Kansas Metro Safety and Security Services developed a modernized, enhanced patrol product to better serve our clients as well as provide unique services not offered by other patrol services providers. You will find that our patrol fleet is comprised of newer, highly marked patrol vehicles, equipped with 270 degrees of spotlighting capability to provide our Safety Agents with the ability to illuminate darkened areas of your properties at night, as well as deter criminal activity on your property. Each patrol vehicle is equipped with digital cameras and MDT’s (Mobile Data Terminal) that allow safety agents to have access to our agency's incident reporting system. Each patrol unit is also equipped with digital cameras so that safety agents can photograph damage they encounter during their patrol.
Our patrol division provides services such as alarm response, parking management, noise complaint response, lock and unlocks of facilities at night, private property traffic management, vehicle unlocks, and automotive jump-starts. This allows our safety agents to provide our clients with a wide variety of services, which most other patrol service providers are not equipped to do. Our vehicle unlocks and automotive battery jump-start service is provided to our clients free of charge.
Bicycle Security Patrol Services
Kansas Metro Safety and Security Services is a seasonal bicycle patrol unit, that operates between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.
The bicycle unit’s main objective is to provide a safe environment for all residents, visitors, or client employees. The bicycle unit is highly visible and is an amazingly effective method for crime prevention within large residential communities and at parks. Our bicycle unit is comprised of 24-26” bicycles that have reflective markings on them, clearly identifying them as Kansas Metro Safety and Security
Bicycle Units can also perform their duties in a manner that is not possible with a patrol vehicle such as riding through crowded areas, around buildings, and obstacles. This also allows our Safety Agents to approach criminal activity without being seen or heard and provide a quick response to calls for service.
