There are several key factors that come into play with websites. First of all you have 4-6 seconds to grab a visitor’s attention, so from a design and structure, the first impression is key. Secondly, as your brand facing, the design and informational flow is of high importance. Then from a communication standpoint, there should be a quick, clear and concise understanding of what your company does as well as the benefits of engaging with your company. Finally, the code structure and SEO efforts have to align well with the latest search parameters.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
First and foremost is understanding of the goals and objectives of the market project(s). Then a thorough understanding of who we are trying to reach with the marketing efforts needs to be defined. Additionally, there should also be an understanding of how the marketing project integrates with other marketing efforts.
Describe your creative process.
Through interaction with the client, we carefully outline all the parameters of the project. From understanding goals and objectives and target audience, to outlining the expectations of the ongoing marketing efforts. We then design and write copy, present and refine with client and then move to final production and market launch.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We need an open dialog to garner the information to produce the best possible marketing solution. Expectations needs to be discussed and at the same time we want to garner the company’s strengths and differentiators that lead to strong messaging and called to actions. And how do these fold into your other marketing efforts. We also need to establish budget parameters and deadlines.
What do you love most about your job?
Our greatest satisfaction is helping our clients grow their businesses. In all cases, we’re able to bring strategic thinking to the conversation to ensure that our marketing efforts will align with the marketplace to ensure our clients find ample traction within their target markets.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Marketing is a unique business to be in. It requires a broad range of knowledge, expertise and drive to continually adapt to change in order to effectively deliver services to our clients. The market demands and communication avenues are constantly changing and brands are constantly challenged. Being able to address those issues for our clients ultimately leads to their successes. In most cases, we are providing the majority of our services remotely by utilizing online video conferencing for service related input meetings and presentations of marketing elements.
