What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about helping children and caregivers reach their full potential through building confidence as well as reassuring them that it is possible.
What inspired you to start your own business?
During the pandemic, my previous employer challenged with building an online curriculum for preschoolers. Once the program was in place for half the school year, they decided to end it due to lack of teachers being available in the facility. I still had student's that were not going back to a physical facility and so they wanted to continue to homeschool their child. I did the same! So, I started Hope, Learn & Play LLC and continued offering the courses and well as added additional services such as tutoring, community outreach programing such as Play & Learn In the Park, and consulting services that would help students and their caregivers to cope with the new landscape of homeschooling.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I work mostly online, and if I am providing a mobile service, I wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Virtual Private Tutoring
Does your child need help with a specific subject in school? We offer 30 minute to 1 hour virtual tutoring sessions for students from pre-K through 12th grade. Tutors will assist with most subjects, as well as provide homework help as needed. Sessions are catered to the student's individual needs and skill level.
Online Pre-K & Kindergarten Homeschool Courses
Virtual Preschool & Kindergarten Program- We offer year round, weekly themed, online classes that explore the concepts of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) based content through age appropriate activities. We are dedicated to the educational process and creating a strong foundation for 21st century skill building.
Virtual Homeschool Program Grades 1-12
In Hope, Learn & Play LLC has partnered with Williams Academy of Excellence, we strives to reach and expand the potential of our students as well as develop confident, productive, responsible, ethical members of society who will be lifelong learners. To achieve this, we provide rigorous, student-centered, small group learning. In partnership with parents, we empower our students to meet current and future challenges by encouraging independence and a sense of responsibility for themselves. We address a range of learning styles while challenging our students to perform at their highest potential.
Virtual Kindergarten Readiness Summer Camp
All aboard the Learning Express as we travel on the train track of knowledge, making stops at all the kindergarten benchmarks to reach our final destination of Success! This 10-week summer virtual program will help students be prepared for kindergarten academically. Additionally, we explore social-emotional skill building activities for self-regulation such as mindful games, as well as creating sensory play tools for textile exploration and to physical relaxation solutions.
Skill Elevation Consulting Program
This is a caregiver centered program. It is designed to provide academic assessment for the student, social & emotional coaching for both the student and parental figure(s), as well as activities to elevate student's from their current skill and confidence level to reach their highest potential.
