FIVE STAR WOW! As the hostess for a group that has gluten, dairy, shellfish coconut and nut allergies as well as a vegan on the guest list, it was a pleasure to be so comfortable that each one of our guests and their needs would be met. The chef cooked as needed to make sure there was no cross contamination. The chef and his team showed up early, set up a beautiful presentation of tables & chairs with linens in my choice of colors. The set up included table lights, centerpieces and runners, chair sashes too! They thought of absolutely EVERY detail. I ended up using my own water pitchers and crystal water glasses only because I didn't know they'd bring those as well. It was such a delight to have our guests be wowed by details and feel safe eating. The show was interactive and they included the guests as part of it which of course gave us all the entertainment we needed. My only complaint if you can call it that is that it was SOOO much food per person! But, they came with to go boxes to remedy that as well. I don't give many reviews because with such a varied group of allergies in our extended family we often just cook at home. I can promise we will use them again! Chef Ido and Apollo were awesome. They made everything work seamlessly. They were gracious and kind. The food was really good and obviously fresh and Apollo's energy and service was on point. It was a lovely experience and we'll worth the $$$. Definitely an experience. We asked for the all the meat to be halal and it didn't disappoint. The quality of all the meat was exceptional. The halal wagyu was cooked to perfection. Overall a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend them for any special occasion. It's an experience and good food all wrapped up in one. John the owner was so accommodating and receptive from the moment of our last minute booking to making everything come to fruition. Thank you Chef Ido! He was so funny and engaging. He even called my husband up to the grill and everyone in general had a blast. He made the kids laugh on a few occasions(the sauce prank was a hit) and he was engaging just the perfect amount. We were celebrating our grandfathers 80th birthday and Fujioka made it so special and perfect! The set up was stunning and the food was absolutely phenomenal. My dear friend hired John and his team to cater our annual Friendsgiving dinner for the holidays this year. Fujioka Teppanyaki did not disappoint! The set up was beautiful, and the staff was so helpful. Everything was meticulously placed, and they paid close attention to detail for the plate settings. The start of dinner was running a little behind on schedule, but the team was very patient and understanding. Chef Ido was entertaining, efficient, and engaging. He did a wonderful job cooking dinner. Everything was delicious, and he was mindful enough to take note of any allergies or dietary sensitivities. The servers Tiffany and Dani were professional and personable. They consistently cleared empty plates and refilled sauces upon request. The Yum Yum sauce and the ginger sauce paired beautifully with the meal. Upon completion, Tiffany and Dani were so nice to offer my guests to-go containers, and packed up the extra food for us at the end of the night. The fire dancer was so talented, and really had the crowd going. We were lucky enough to be blessed with 3 different sets. Best of all, they cleaned everything up-- which is a godsend especially for large parties during the holidays. 10/10, I would definitely recommend John and his team to anyone looking for a unique and pleasant dining experience. Jon and his staff were amazing. I hired them for my 30th birthday party. Communication was excellent, Jon made sure he knew exactly what I needed for my party. They provided the tables, table setting, etc. and decorated so nicely. He sent servers to help with the food. They came early set up and did all the cleaning at the end. We hired Fujioka Teppanyaki for our daughters 30th birthday celebration. Apollo met us at our home at the decided time, and handled the rest with terrific professionalism. Besides Apollo, we also had Edwin, the chef, and servers Johanna and Ben. All were terrific! They set up all tables, chairs, decor, served the food efficiently, kept our drinks topped off, and cleaned up so well you would never know we had just had a party. This was hands down the BEST decision for my husband's surprise 40th birthday. All of my guests had the best time. We will remember this night for forever. Everything was taken care of for us. Chef Ido, Brian and Danny came over a few hours to my house before my event to set up tables, chairs, lights, decorations. Everything was provided (except for drinking glasses). They transformed my backyard. It was sooooo beautiful. (And stress-free for me!)Chef Ido, Brian and Danny all treated my guests to an amazing dinner. On top of the food being so GOOD, all the guys were soooo funny. It was a night full of laughter.We opted in for the *FIRE SHOW* by Prince and it was soo good. You have to do it.Chef Ido, Brian and Danny also helped us serve drinks throughout the night and cut up the cake for us. They were really wonderful.Tip: I chose 4 dishes (lobster, shrimp, ribeye, and tofu) for 23 guests. I loved working with Fujioka Teppanyaki. My entire event was so easy to book, and I was blown away by how punctual, professional and amazing Tiffany, Reza and Ido were on the day of my event. They set everything up to perfection and were so incredibly kind and courteous the entire time. Chef Ido and the food were amazing - my guests were raving over all of it, asking for seconds, and we still somehow managed to have leftovers which Reza and Tiffany perfectly packed and placed in the fridge for me. Had an amazing experience with Fujioka, who hosted a hibachi lunch for 16 family members. Tiffany, Ash and Edwin were pros, and had to deal with really hot weather, so we opted to cook in the shade while serving the family using our deck seating and indoor seating. Edwin put on a cooking show, having cooked at habichi restaurants for 29 years, and his chicken fried rice was probably the best one we've had among all hibachi options in LA. The filet and lobster were cooked perfectly, as well as any gourmet or high end restaurant. It was super easy to make a reservation, we answered a few questions and they took care of everything included cleanup and takeout packaging for some guests. YOU MUST BOOK THESE PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY!!!Thank you to Chef Edwin, Tiffany, Kayla, and the best fire performer Prince (his IG is PrincePyrrohs), for making my brothers 40th Bday dinner very memorable! They came early to set up, they brought tables , chairs, covers, plates, decorations..etc The food was absolutely delicious! We requested the chicken, wagyu rib eye and shrimp. This was an incredible high school graduation party for my kids. John replied very quickly and efficiently to my original inquiry. Chef Edwin, Ash and Ben showed up early and carefully setup the tables and chairs beautifully. The food was excellent, wagyu ribeye, lobster tails (the best!!), and chicken. Chef Edwin is hilarious and had all of us busting up during the entire process. Edwin playfully interacted with the guests (especially the teenagers). This was my first time that I ever had catering at home. I wanted to do something special for my daughter's 10th birthday. I choose Fujioka because it had a great menu, and the communication was second to none. The day finally came (which was today), and my mind was blown. Chef Chris and the staff, were AMAZING! I mean, truly AMAZING! I made sure that I got everything on the menu to maximize the experience. You have to want to spend money to be honest to make it worth it. I got the A5 Waygu, I got the King Crab legs, and everything on the menu. The service was better than a restaurant. The entertainment was better than any Teppanyaki place that I have been to in my life. My daughter definitely had an experience that she will never forget. Party of 44 for my husband's 44th birthday!!! So we decided to do something different this time! I yelped for hibachi style mobile restaurants and contacted 3 vendors. John at Fujioka Teppanyaki answered the call right away, explained the process and services in a very friendly and professional manner and helped me thru booking the services and putting together the menu for the guests. They provide it all - the tables, the chairs, the covers, table decoration, the plates, forks, chopsticks... everything. My party was scheduled to start at 6:30pm,so the team arrived at 3:30 on the dot! It was 3 of them, the chef Ido and the two servers Tiffany and Leo. They were very polite, organized, efficient, and you could tell they knew what they were doing.I had a few lanterns that I wanted to incorporate with the design, and Tiffany and Leo offered to do it for me, it was very sweet. They were very helpful, very attentive and accommodating to our guests, everyone loved them! Now about the chef Ido!!! He was the show of the show! He cooked an amazing, delicious meal, he entertained the guests, made them laugh.. a lot!!! We had plenty of food, plenty of left overs, that Tiffany and Leo put neatly in the to-go boxes. We are Armenians, so food for our parties should be plenty! And, I'm telling anyone who's reading my review and thinking if the food is going to be enough - the answer is yes! I had a separate table set with cheese platers,Fruits and sweets, but that was all. Plenty of food. Most of my guests ordered Filet, which was absolutely delicious. The rice, the tuna, the shrimp, the tofu and the chicken were cooked to perfection.It was a great experience, fun, different, entertaining and delicious! Booked them for a backyard birthday party with kids and the whole experience was beyond my expectations! John was easy to coordinate with & was super patient when we had a lot of questions. They came 2.5 hours early to setup, were incredibly patient while we had to wait for some of our party to arrive, were super fun & engaging as we had kids & adults. On top of these things, they went above & beyond to make sure everyone had a great time - serving the kids first, packing take home boxes for guests when we had leftovers, making sure our drinks were always filled, & being super flexible with timing. They also were really kind & offered to take photos for our group and airdropped them for us afterwards.
