I started going to Concept Move after a colleague recommended I call Aimee. I have worked in a high stress environment for a number of years and wanted to stop bad behaviors and damaging myself and start developing healthy habits and get myself in better physical condition prior to retirement. Just took my first concept elite group fitness class with Chelsy, and it was amazing!!!! I’m not an ‘elite’ excerciser at ALL but there were modifications that I could do comfortably. ☺️ I left feeling like there were dormant core muscles that got rudely woken up from hibernation! And the other regulars of the class were really welcoming of me ♥️♥️♥️ can’t wait to go again! Maybe someday I’ll be as jacked as you all oh and I also took a Trx class and the stretch & stabilize last week, which were very good. Loving how educated the instructors are. thank you. More...

From an employees perspective I can say this place is 5 star worthy for sure! Lucas and Dillon make sure they take care of their employees and all the clients who walk through that door. When we have ideas or visions, the entire team makes it happen. When we need something to change, it changes. Nice equipment. Accepting environment. Challenging trainers. Perfect combination if you're looking to crush goals. Lucas is persistent, motivating and knowledgeable. They personalized a program based on my current fitness levels, fitness goals and time I have to commit. I used to be fit and active – a marathon, several ½ marathons, some sprint triathlons and since becoming a business owner I have let my fitness go by the wayside. I have known Taite for almost a year and planned to start working out last year; I didn’t. During the Holidays I decided that I needed to make a commitment to getting healthy and I knew I would need help. I found it in Taite. I am signed up for 6 months to work out once a week with him and at least three other days on my own. Taite put together workouts for me to do at home with the equipment I have on hand. I have met with him three times so far and each time I get a great workout and the encouragement I need to continue. I know I will keep up with my fitness goals because Taite is meeting me and cheering me on every lunge, squat, barbell raise and plank. Thanks Taite! More...

I have been working with Taite at Concept Move for several months now and I'm really seeing (and feeling!) great results. Taite has a fantastic attitude, very positive and supportive, and yet listens to any feedback or concerns I have and adjusts the workouts accordingly . He has a degree in athletic training from UVM and a broad knowledge of anatomy. If you're like me, after a long day of work, it's challenging to be self-motivated to get to the gym. Having a personal trainer who is very skilled yet personable really helps me to keep my commitment in showing up and doing the work. If you're in the Burlington or Williston Vermont area and want that extra help engaging in a fitness regime, give Taite and Concept Move your trust. Taite actually makes working out fun! More...

I have always wanted to make working out a part of my life, but struggled to find a gym I really enjoyed spending time at and felt motivated to go to. Concept Move is that gym for me. I can't say enough positive things about Sydney. She's always switching things up to keep me on my toes and push me to try new things, but also incorporates my favorite exercises because she knows it keeps me motivated. If I ever feel like I don't know what I'm doing, or I need more clarification, she is right there to answer any questions I have, or to demonstrate again...and again...and again for me. I ran into some back issues a couple months ago and she knew all the right questions to ask since she went to school for Athletic Training. I knew that she wouldn't let me do anything that would cause more damage and her advice on stretches to do when I went home were invaluable to me. Having a trainer that you look forward to seeing after a long day at work is about as good as it gets. Only thing better is looking forward to seeing each and every one of the gym staff - and I can say thats exactly how I feel about Concept Move. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself! More...

I love training with Taite Carpenter at Concept Move! He is so flexible with my ever changing schedule and very responsive at anytime to last minute workout change requests. I really like how knowledgeable he is about exercises, so they don’t hurt my back or knees, since I have a long history of injuries and surgeries. I was actually very fearful of starting a professional training program because of this, but Taite has been the perfect match for my health program needs and puts my concerns to rest. I also hadn’t been able to lose even 1 pound in three years of trying on my own - I have now lost seven pounds in just a couple of months and feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel now. Chelsy Pillsbury is the best personal trainer! Her workouts are always challenging and have tons of variety. Chelsy sends personal online training sessions to do at home during off days from the gym. It's so convenient and nice to have the video tutorials to make sure I'm doing the right exercise. Thanks for helping me get back to pre-baby body. Everyone at Concept Move is super friendly. This is not one of those too cool for school gyms. It's a quaint space but you never feel crowded and they have all the equipment you could need. Love it! More...

Lucas helped me plan my goals for losing weight and getting in shape. His plan was very in-depth while also being very easy to understand and execute. After 8 weeks of doing his plan, i have already lost 8 lbs and inches while gaining muscle. He is a trust-worthy, knowledgeable expert and I am so grateful!
