Update Review: We noticed we still had a pretty significant mosquito problem after the original spray. Bug Head came and did a repeat spray a few weeks later that didn't seem to help. I reached out to the team and they sent someone to do another spray, but a different type of spray, that worked! I really appreciate the follow up from the company and willingness to help!Original Review: Requested a quote and within a few hours I had a reply, questions answered, and an appointment set up for the next day. I have used them on a few occasions and it has always been easy. The only suggestion I have for them is to have a better system where the phones are always being answered. Great, friendly, family-owned-local-business-type service! Â Kristen at the office was very helpful in providing initial information when we experienced ' flymaggedon', a 36-hour period where we killed over 100 house flies in our new house. Bug Head Pest Control is one of the preferred service providers I utilize for my house; they're always gracious, flexible with scheduling, do a great job, don' t try to up-sell you every visit and most importantly, are reasonably priced! Further, if you have a problem in between quarterly visits, they'll come out to eradicate the issue at no charge. Jeremy was great! I was like 98% sure I had sub-terrain termites. I sent a request over Yelp and they were quick to answer and were able to come out that same week. Jeremy did a full inspection and was very up front with me about what was what. We did the initial install, and after two weeks i checked under the rock again for termites this week nothing was there. Bug Head Pest Control is the kind of reliable business you hope to encounter when you are in need of help. Â I noticed a minor carpenter ant problem in my home and Jeremy made it out the same day I called to help assess and treat the problem. As social distancing is important during this pandemic, I was initially hesitant to have anyone over at my home, but, unfortunately, pests know no bounds and I didn't want to run the risk of things getting worse. Kristen, one of the customer service reps at Bug Head, put my mind at ease when she informed me that Jeremy would be wearing shoe covers, gloves and a ventilator. Not just a face mask, but a small ventilator, which I assume is used when spraying chemicals inside of homes. Jeremy was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and kept his distance as he assessed the situation both outside and inside of my home. Anytime I needed a second round of protection because of the bugs, he would come by with no problem. I found Bug Head Pest Control via Yelp and 5/5 WOULD RECOMMEND!! 1. Bug Head Pest Control is hands down the fastest responding contractor I have ever dealt with. I submitted the online information request option on the Yelp website at 7:54am and received a message back from Jeremy at 7:55am (ONE MINUTE LATER!!!) offering a free inspection and asking for my availability. 2. On my day of scheduled service they were very accommodating with the time and were actually able to get to my condo an hour earlier than expected. (Another win in my book... I personally hate the waiting game that I have to play with AT&T every time I have internet issues). 3. Jeremy completed my inspection, gave his honest input and did not try to oversell services. Truth be told, he didn't even push for me to purchase anything today. However, for my peace of mind (and a preventative measure) I had him apply a general pesticide to my entire unit which he was able to do in less than 20 minutes. 4. As a bonus, everyone at this company that I have talked to is extremely friendly. OMG!!! We had a rat in the house due to construction behind us. We love living away from the city but with that comes unwanted guests. In my panic these guys showed up first thing in the am and went to work. Price was great (honestly I would have paid more for that problem) right before the holidays they didn't take advantage of my desperation. Stand up people and customer service something I always find lacking with companies. We found the terrorizing guy and they came to retrieve him. We just purchased a home and noticed roaches and mosquito on site, so we hired Bug Head to come in and do some simple spraying before we moved in. The technician was very thorough and noted further issues, which he explained and offered further help with. He found that we also have a mice infestation, ~100 sets of moth egg sacks, and 2 varieties of roaches.
