We asked for help with a small dinner party and Blue Zuchini Catering was terrific! We ordered fajitas and everything was fresh and delicious. It was evident that the beef and chicken were very high quality, and all items were well packaged and warmed up perfectly in my oven. Yvonne and Blue Zucchini Catering did an amazing job catering our wedding reception. From the very beginning, Yvonne was easy to work with and gave us many options within our budget. She worked with us and created a menu that suited all of our requests. The food was delivered on time so we didn't have to stress out. About the food.....absolutely AMAZING! All of our guests raved about the food. There was not 1 item that anyone was disappointed with. The meatballs, quesadilla's, and empanada's were incredible, as were all of the other items we ordered. We chose Blue Zucchini Catering for our wedding last month after finding them on Thumbtack. Our experience with this company, and Yvonne who we dealt with the most, was wonderful! The company's pricing is very reasonable and was within our budget. We also had gluten free folks on our guest list, and it was made very clear to us which dishes could be modified so they could enjoy them as well. On the day of our event, the staff member who dropped off the food was so quick to set up everything perfectly, everything arrived as specified in our event contract, and my family members helping set up commented how professionally everything was done. We had multiple people at our wedding tell us how much they liked the food, and we were delighted to have enough leftovers to continue enjoying for a couple more days after our event! It was simply perfect - went beyond our expectations when we were searching for a caterer 5 months out from our day. If you aren't catering with Blue Zucchini, then you should start now! We found Blue Zucchini online and every colleague of mine asked where the food came from. Food was amazing - absolutely delicious. The vegan & vegetarian sandwiches were as delicious, if not more, than the meat! Delivery was so on time and they were so helpful. The owner, Yvonne, is incredibly responsive and so kind and amazing. If we had more people in attendance there wouldn't have been ANY leftovers. We will DEFINITELY use Blue Zucchini in the future. What’s your signature dish?
All of our dishes are prepared in our scratch kitchen with fresh produce, hormone free beef, and cage-free chicken. Each dish is prepared specifically to your specifications keeping in mind food allergies or religious preferences. Our repeat clients are in love with our make your own bars and our dinner packages.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
At Blue Zucchini we listen to our client's wishes and specifications, making each dish exactly how our clients prefer. Food allergies and religious preferences are taken very seriously. We love to create special menus to make each event unique.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Blue Zucchini Catering Company is a sister company to Olive Lebanese Eatery located throughout Northern Virgina. As our restaurants grew rapidly, so did the catering request. Blue Zucchini grew out of the needs and demands of our clientele.
Why should our clients choose you?
Blue Zucchini has a very strong sense of values. If our food does not meet our requirements and demands it does not leave our kitchen. This is evident in our reviews.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Rest assured that Blue Zucchini follows all COVID precautions. All of our staff is fully vaccinated.
