I'm a qualified personal trainer who works with mums who want to run. My mission is to stop women leaking when running!

I know the struggles we mums face to try and fit everything into a day, let alone find time to exercise. That is why it is my aim to help you make time to incorporate running and exercise into your day - add a little sparkle - by making small and sustainable changes.

Personal Trainers

Sierra worked well for us we lost the weight we wanted to in less than half time we planned to do it in. What we both really liked is that she showed us the proper techniques to make sure we did it properly as neither of us had been to a gym or had a personal trainer. The results speak for themselves 10kg for one of us and 15 kg for the other in 20 weeks and it is sustainable. You need to commit but Sierra will keep you on track in the nicest possible way would highly recommend.

I recently attended Sierra’s eating right Supermarket tour which was fantastic. Sierra clearly knows her stuff and she was able to answer all of my many many questions! She gave me lots of useful tips not only for eating right for exercise but eating healthy in general and getting back into exercise after having a baby. Would definitely recommend! More...

I’ve been wanting to get back to doing some weight and HIIT training for a while but wasn’t sure how to fit it in around running without having to commit to a gym. Training with Sierra is the perfect solution for me - she understands my running priorities and goals and helps me figure out how to balance that with my strength training goals. Sierra has been a fantastic coach. I am an injured runner and was looking to move into triathlon. Sierra developed a great training plan for me, that took injury into account, and coached me to successfully finish my first triathlon! Goodness....we started in Jan and already started to feel better and motivated to keep up with my fitness goals. Ha...and in the process lost 3+kgs (which was not a goal). Sierra has been great to work with as she understands busy life schedules with demanding jobs and busy kid lives (she has a toddler the same age as mine). Each session with her is divided into “food diary” chats and exercise tips...and in my case, addressing very specific pain and strengthening to work past it (and we have). Added bonus: she has the best healthy food recipes, that are also toddler approved. More...

I used to be a lawyer. However, after the birth of my daughter I no longer had the same passion for law. I wanted to find a way to spend more time with my daughter as well as find time to shine myself.

I have always enjoyed sport and have accomplished a lot in my sporting career. So it was an easy choice to re-train as a personal trainer. Through finding my sparkle I can continue to help others, just through a different medium.

I provide online training services. I have a membership option set up on my website - www.sparklefitness.co.nz. For as little as $30 per month you will have access to my home workout videos, family friendly recipes and meal plans.

Services

One-on-one 45min personal training session.

Let me show you how to incorporate more movement into your day. My philosophy is to teach you how to use your own body weight to workout. Hence, minimal equipment is involved.

I'm able to come to your home, a park nearby or anywhere that you would like to workout. I also have a small gym area set up at my home.

You can also combine a personal training session with a membership to my online workouts for a discounted price. If you need help with your exercise techniques and check that you are doing the online workouts correctly, then booking in a personal training session will help.

This is not your usual boot camp.

I aim to create a friendly and supportive workout environment where all feel like they can participate.

I'll use a HIIT style (high intensity interval training) for these classes. It sounds intimidating but what it means is that you work as hard as you can for a short period of time and then rest. The benefit is that you get a good workout done in a shorter space of time.
