Had a doggy bootcamp on Saturday and we can see the difference in our little puppy nala already. We are first time puppy parents and had a very excited jumpy bitey puppy but you can see she is getting calmer by the day. We have been shown what to focus on and how to introduce commands and to build on them and provide good mental stimulation for our pup. We were left with a lot of homework but it definitely pays off. Also we felt very well prepared for our first walk which I was originally quite nervous about. We have also taken nala for a walk alongside another client so we could get our puppy socialising and build up her manners.
I would highly recommend Stacey to anyone. Fantastic lady with a lot of knowledge. 5 star service xx
Offering a Professional and Personal Approach to each Dog and Owner. Dog Behaviour and Training should be personal to each dog, and owner, not a “one size fits all” approach. It should be based on a force free, experience and professional approach involving both you the owner and your dog, getting you to work together, instead of against each other. I believe there is a solution to every dog training issue or behaviour problem.

A few weeks ago Jo came to help me with settling a very confused little girl foxy, who was taken from her family very quickly and brought to me and my busy house with children and another dog. Jo came for an hour or so on a Sunday morning and within a day or so I had the dogs sharing the same space. They are now the best of friends and play like sisters and it is just amazing to see the transformation. You can’t always see what’s right in front of you when you’re a loving human because you just deal with the pups from your heart. Sometimes you need to understand what they are thinking and dealing with and it all changes thanks Jo

We are extremely pleased with the help and advise that Marion gave to us. We have seen a great improvement within hours let alone days. Marion said it would take work but it is worth it.
Marion was easy to talk to about our dog and the problems we were having with him. I would recommend Marion Yates to any one.

Sandra is awesome! and I don’t often say that but she has been a god send to me and my Labrador Leia. Sandra took Leia at 7 months. She was a feisty pup who was becoming difficult to walk pulling and jumping up and I was beginning to lose hope I would ever have a calm dog. Sandra had patience with Leia and with me giving guidance and support whenever I needed it. She took on Leia and spent time working out what were her triggers. Sandra is more that a dog walker she has transformed my beautiful Labrador into a responsive and well mannered dog who knows her boundaries so I can take her anywhere. Sandra had spent as much time with me sending me countless videos on her training tips while she is out with Leia. These have helped me continue with Leia’s training when I walk her as I can see what I need to work on. I could not have done this without Sandra she is a lovely kind woman who has the best interests of you and the dog at heart. If you need some help with your dog do not hesitate speak to Sandra it will be the best call you ever make.

Very reliable. Worked wonders with our dog in quite a short time. She is a rehomed Labrador who had had no lead training and had pulled me over twice before we found Kayleigh. We have just completed the first phase of training and the change in the dog is remarkable. The only problem we have is that on the days when Kayleigh doesn't come the dog spends all her time looking for her! She absolutely adores Kayleigh. Can't recommend Kayleigh highly enough.

The PAWSitive Woof Pack consists of husband and wife team: Adam focusses on providing enriching dog walking experiences (both pack and solo walks) whilst Lu is our resident canine behaviourist and trainer (though, you may well catch her on some dog walks too, as she just can't help herself!). DOG WALKS We're happy to take on any dog, no matter the age or size. However, we tend to specialise in working with dogs other walkers find too big, strong or "difficult to handle". We LOVE a challenge and take huge pride in helping keep your dog stimulated and exercised. DOG TRAINING We offer puppy and obedience training as well as behaviour modification (from stopping lead pulling, through to working on resource guarding, reactivity, aggression and anxiety). Our training is all done one to one, in your home, which ensures it's perfectly tailored to you, your requirements and your dog (this also means we can take into account breed characteristics, age, health and previous training). Training is not a one-size fits all process, which is why we work with you to find out the right size for you. *** IMPORTANT INFO *** Please note, we don't always respond to Bark requests. As a potential customer you may not be aware, but Bark charges us between £3.98 and £13.26 to purchase your contact details. We don't mind this; however, on average only 20% of potential buyers are in a position to hire, rather than simply researching potential costs. If you're simply browsing, feel free to check out our website :) If you are keen to hire a dog walker or trainer, and are interested in finding out more about our specific services, we will ONLY consider purchasing your contact details if: * You complete all relevant information (i.e. number of dogs, age, breed etc) * Have your number verified by Bark * Include a message with your request to provide us with additional information e.g. preferences on days for dog walks, or a brief description of any problem(s) if you are looking for training We hope this does not come across as being deliberately awkward, but we currently have a waiting list for training and, as a result, only have time for those who are prepared to be engaged in the process from the start. NOT PROVIDED Please be aware that we do not provide guard dog, service dog or protection training. Check out our Facebook page for top tips and ideas on puppy selection, general dog ownership and training.
The best bit about this job is making a genuine difference. Taking a dog who is reactive and who the owners dread walking, working with them to instill calm, confident leadership and seeing that dog relax as the handler takes charge is absolutely beautiful and never gets old.
I'm passionate about keeping dogs out of shelters and off the euthanasia table, so doing anything that makes dog ownership what it's meant to be - fun, exciting and rewarding - contributes to that.
I've been self-employed since 2008 when I was made redundant. Due to childcare requirements I set up a virtual business, as I was needed at home. However, now the kids are older, I have a lot more freedome.
As a family, we have four dogs, so they've always been a massive passion of mine. After contracting Covid in late 2021 I decided to make some major changes to my life - I didn't want to be sat around behind a desk doing work that didn't inspire me or really make any differnce to anyone's life. After a lot of discussion and soul-searching, I realised that dogs should be my main focus.
Since then, I've set up The PAWSitive Woof Pack, started my dog training studies and the rest is history :)
It's really important that anyone who is handing the safety of their dog over to a professional dog walker or trainer feels entirely confident and happy with the person they've chosen. That's why I think it's vital you arrange a face to face meeting with anyone you're considering hiring for the job.
Here at The PAWSitive Woof Pack we offer a completely free, no obligation meet and greet. This gives us a chance to meet you, discuss your dog's needs, and do a brief informal assessment on your dog prior to commencing work.
As to why me, specifically? Other than being dotty about dogs, I'm very knowledgable about specific breeds, learning styles, and different training methods. I'm a balanced trainer with experience of working with a variety of dogs and situations.
I also volunteer for Dogs4Rescue as a dog walker, working specifically with their more reactive dogs including previous street dogs.
I'm happy to discuss the possibillity of online/remote sessions on a case by case basis. There are some situations that can be discussed and advised on without the need for physical intervention; however, with dog training, this can obviously difficult to achieve.
I am happy to accomodate client needs and will wear a face mask if required. Please just let me know.
