Dawn is an expert and someone I really resonate with on a deep level. She’s the only spiritual teacher I go to and trust for real Truthful advice. I saw her TED talk and read some of her articles and felt compelled to see if there was a way I could talk to her because I knew she knew her stuff. And I needed help. I work at a secondary school in Edinburgh which run an annual Health & Wellbeing day for all s1-s3 pupils. The focus usually involves meditation, physical activity and mindfulness.
As a new teacher to the school that is very passionate about improving children’s self esteem and mental health, I was keen to get involved in the organisation of this day and offer something with this focus.
After reading Dawn’s book (Diary of a teenage mind reader) I was eager to get in touch with her and find out if she would be interested in delivering a session for the kids. Thankfully she was up for the challenge and the preparation she put into it and the energy she put into her sessions far exceeded my expectations!
She delivered 3 talks consecutively to each year group and helped students to begin to understand the basis of many mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and low self esteem. Pupils learned how our brains are working on an outdated set of rules that come from the caveman days, and how these outdated rules get in the way of their day to day life.
Dawn has delivered numerous talks in her career to adults, however I was amazed and how she really tailored her talks to suit the audience and used anecdotes throughout that pupils could really relate to. Dawn had an incredibly positive response from all pupils who were really engaged and showed a genuine interest - if only I could have this in all my classes!!!
Pupils left the sessions having learned some practical tips to overcome these outdated caveman rules as well as strategies they could adopt to store and retrieve information depending on their learning style to improve their approach to studying.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience having Dawn deliver talks at my school for both teachers and pupils.

I had a very screwed up childhood. I had help and am now happy and at peace. I want to do the same for others

My sessions work exactly the same way online as in person. Since covid I do all my service online
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I work online only. Sessions are on Zoom, Facebook Messenger video, Facetime or Skype
1-1 therapy for kids (aged 8+)
You could see changes in your child in only 6 weeks:
SESSION 1 : Usually within 48 hours of 1st contact
SESSION 2 : Happens 2 weeks later.
SESSION 3 : Check in 4 weeks after second session.
Parent Coaching pack
The parent coaching pack is all about resourcing you, the parent/carer, and thereby resourcing your child.
Over a period of 6-8 weeks we will work together with online sessions and email support as I help you understand your child's brain and behaviour.
You will get tools and techniques to use to help your child and so, in the long run, you will have all the resources you need to manage any issues that come up.
At the end of the 6-8 weeks you will get access to a wealth of online resources to support you and your child.
1-1 therapy Adults
You could be where you want to be, with no more sessions needed, in only 6 weeks:
SESSION 1 : Usually within 48 hours of 1st contact
SESSION 2 : Happens 2 weeks later.
SESSION 3 : Check in 4 weeks after second session.
1-1 therapy Family pack
The family pack is designed for 2 members of the same family who both need individual therapy. You will both get up to 3 sessions each.
You could be where you want to be, with no more sessions needed, in only 6 weeks:
SESSION 1 : Usually within 48 hours of 1st contact. First part is done with both family members.
SESSION 2 : Happens 2 weeks later.
SESSION 3 : Check in 4 weeks after second session.
