Mel is amazing with my Mum who is 89 and has Alzheimer’s. She is able to respond to Mum’s varying moods, and has hugely improved Mum’s quality of life, even taking her out to either sit in the fresh air and sunshine, or go to the beach. Mel is highly competent in her caring skills, and has often encouraged Mum to accept personal care when she has previously been reluctant. Covid ,when covid started i volunteered for the NHS winter help outbsceme
Door step chats ,shopping and just helping out ,i got such a sence of fulfilment that ive continued.
