We are a 4/5-piece jazz, Latin and swing band with a lively female singer, performing well-known standards/Great American songbook numbers, combined with easy-listening songs from our album. We can also add some pop, rock or ska for dancing.

What do you love most about your job?
Our music is fun and all our musicians are talented. Most of them perform with other combos and bands, not just Pimp My Jazz.
Our female singers (Lonette and Lea) have great voices and a wide repertoire of songs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My partner Gavin Sparks and I (Kay Shelley) are a songwriting team who write in many different styles, including jazz, Latin, R&B, blues, country and pop.
We decided to set up a jazz and Latin band to showcase our own music along with well-known numbers.
Most people like our album because the songs are enjoyable and varied, and the performance and production are of a very high standard.
We have more than enough material for a second album, but no money to produce it!
