About

I help busy people who don’t think they have the time to train and don’t know how to do it, to make a transformation in as little as 8 weeks that will change them for good.

How? Because I’ve been there and done it, then lost it, then had to learn how to do it again and make it stick.

Training with Wasim has been a game-changer for me. I wanted to lose stubborn fat that seemed impossible to shake off. It was typically around my belly and arms. Wasim's assessment process helped me see what I was missing and what needed to be done. And the journey actually became enjoyable. I not only achieved my weight loss goals but also rediscovered my confidence. Would definitely recommend, I'm not on his monthly online programme to maintain my shape in my late 30's and try and put more muscle on. More...

Before working with Wasim, I felt tired all the time and struggled to keep up with my kids. Wasim's personalized training program not only helped me shed excess weight (all fat! ) but also boosted my energy levels. I wasn't getting tired quickly and can say the years rolled back! Now, I'm not just keeping up with my kids – I'm leading the way!
Bear in mind, I put the work in 3 days a week and never missed a session in 12 weeks. It works. Just trust the process

I posted an ad on bark to help me with my weight loss.
Wasim called me and ran through his process which differed to other PT's and explained his holistic approach.

I was impressed with the amount of effort put in and was given some assessments to complete. On the back of this, I was provided with a thorough program which took into account my goals (weight loss and core strengthening) and he provided this through an online platform plus 3 sessions per week.

The sessions were very varied and interesting. He has a lot of knowledge and mixed things up so I didn't get bored.

I think even more than my results (15lbs weight loss achieved!!) was how much I learned about my body and exercise. He always stresses the reasons he does every exercise and you always leave knowing more than you did the last session.

Highly recommended as the training is tailored and very detailed to you and your goals.

I hired Wasim for a boxing session for a small group of my colleagues. I gave the brief that the purpose of the session was for fitness and a bit of fun, and informed him that everyone taking the class would be beginners.
I unfortunately couldn't attend the class myself in the end, however the feedback I had from the group was that the session went above and beyond expectations, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Wasim was also very easy to communicate with on Bidvine, and was very helpful in looking for a studio to hire for the session, that was close to our office.

I would definitely hire Wasim and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a boxing coach for a session of this nature.

Many thanks Wasim! :-)

Very good training sessions

Wasim was the first PT i worked with, having needed the motivation and a lot of things to achieve.
It was a journey and a process I thoroughly enjoyed but i's hard work.
I had tabs kept on me, regular assessments to make sure I didn't fall off the wagon and the sessions were varied and always exciting.
In between all this, the online portal really helped.
After 3 months, I made the progress I wanted and am continuing with another 3 month program. Now with even bigger challenges!

I'm getting married in the summer and wanted a personal trainer to help me get into shape and feel good.
Wasim was amazing and really helped me. He used a holistic approach to training first finding out about my lifestyle and diet and quickly identified ways to make changes to help myself here.
Then he assessed me as i mentioned I hadn't been to the gym in years so he wanted to see what i was ready for so i wouldn't go in the deep end straight away. The programme made me feel really good and I progressed from week to week going from bodyweight to weights and for the first time, I could see my abs!
You need to be on point with the nutrition also and this is highly emphasised and he doesn't guarantee anything if you're not paying attention to all areas. He knows his stuff.

Great training with Wasim. Needed help with a few things and was recommended his services by a friend. Wanted to learn how to box as I'm considering doing a white collar fight. Also needed to drop a ton of weight and move a lot better.
Wasim used an approach I've not seen with other trainers. He first put me through a physical assessment to test where I was and then measured these regularly to check improvements. The boxing training was brilliant and I learned so much and I was taken to a real club where I got used to the ring and put through some old-school training. I was more impressed with how much I learned than how much weight I lost, but so far is 8 kilos and counting.
He puts an emphasis on jumping rope and he doesn't mess about here. It's astounding how far I've along with that.

The service provided was exceptional. I have some back issues but wanted to train for a charity boxing match.
Wasim tested me first thoroughly to see where i was and how my body responded as he had to take into account my back.
He designed a programme to allow me to train and did a brilliant job. It wasn't just the shape he got me in but the learning experience I gained from it as well. I picked up some great footwork and boxing skills, improved my skipping and got into incredible shape for my bout. This was ultimately cancelled due to the opponent dropping out but I'm right back in it now training for the next one.

Q&As

I specialise in behavioural change initiatives. This is my corporate background and I apply the same to my clients to get them results others may not.

These are the steps:
1. Establish a realistic goal
2. Check your starting point and baseline using assessments
3. Create your plan and action steps (very important)
4. Estabish the best routine and order to ensure success
5. Regular check-ins and accountability calls to remove your obstacles

I base this off my education and experience working in behavioural change management, knowing how to make difficult changes and making them stick.

Look at things holistically. This is about changing habits.
Look at your sleep, stress, nutrition and exercise and exercise.

Approach it like this and you'll get not just the body, but the life you want. And keep it. That's the important part. We don't do temporary changes here. Once through one of our programmes, you likely won't need to use us or anyone else again.

Seeing someone who has limitations with learning a particular skill or moving a certain way is able to overcome that so they can be put on the path to achieving what they want.
Watching them overcome hurdles, especially after many years of trying beforehand is very rewarding.
It's not just about getting you looking good. It's about getting you feeling good, moving well, and being balanced.

It was by accident. I was working in banking in the City of London and my area of expertise was change management.
My job specifically was to get extremely stubborn people to make changes that the establishment needed to make. Often this was trying to break 20-year-old routines, establish new ones and create a better workplace for everyone.

During this time I was still heavily involved in boxing and I got into coaching by teaching jump rope (again, because people asked me how I did it).
So I started a business, coached others, ran workshops and seminars, continued coaching boxing in the evenings and then got injured.

My injury changed my approach to training and upon learning more and more, I became a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach and began coaching outside of the boxing world.

So I guess that's the short version that led me to start my own business. Now I've coached over 100 clients personally who have all completed at least a 12-week training cycle with me

Because of my background and approach.

I've come from a corporate background working specifically on making big changes for organisations and their people so understand the obstacles these clients have.
I've come back from injury and struggled with my own personal fitness goals in the process.

So I developed a system taking all my combined experience (a mix that I doubt no one else has) and it has created a process that has a success rate of 92% (based on initial goal to programme completion) and this includes online clients as well.

Yes!
So I've been offering services remotely world-wide since 2017. My approach allows you to be successful with a 92% rate of programme completion and success based on your initial goal.

What you get:
- Online portal with all assessments, workout programme and session plans with videos
- Nutrition protocol with timings, what to eat and how much with meal plans
- Lifestyle assessments which are done every 4 weeks so you can monitor your score regularly and track your progress
- Weekly call to refine the plan, see what you're stuck on and how we can get you back on track or progress. Use this time to ask any question.
- Unlimited support is also available via text and call if you need to

All equipment between sessions are sanitised and masks are worn by myself as well as social distancing where possible.

Services

Having boxed and worked in boxing for many years now, I have a specific approach to training which I have seen training in the UK, US and Mexico.

I focus of movement and technique and drill the fundamentals so we have a solid base to work on. We train the nervous system to handle the demands of the sport.

Depending on what your focus is, whether it's using boxing for fitness, learning technique and how to box or preparing for competition, I adapt sessions accordingly.

I tend to start with a dynamic warmup which consists of stretches, mobilisations and skipping. We then move onto technique which includes footwork and positioning and incorporate this into shadowboxing and conduct footwork and agility drills.

Then we get the gloves on and hit the bag focusing on using the movement of the bag and using it as an opponent. Then we practise what we did in shadowing and on the bag onto the pads for a few rounds before finishing up with a metabolic circuit consisting of strength and bodyweight exercises.

Stretch out to finish.

My personal training approach is slightly different. I look at things from a holistic view with the idea of fostering long term change in you.
The main aim is to get you moving better, feeling better and looking better. This is done through a holistic training approach looking at lifestyle changes, nutrition profile and exercise. As a result, you will not only receive the body you require, but also an education into how your body works which is invaluable to all my clients.

There's a 4 step process to achieve your goals:
1. Assessment & Testing: Carry out a nutrition, lifestyle, postural, biomechanic, movement & performance assessment to see how you live and what changes can be made to easily facilitate your goals, how you move and what limitations are in your body and musculoskeletal system so we know what baseline we're starting from and see how you measure in the basic biomotor abilities.

2. Program Design: A detailed, tailored program focusing on exercise selection and schedule which breaks down exactly what you need to do, how to do it, when to do it, along with nutrition guidelines and what lifestyle changes you can make in order to reduce stress, eat better, get more sleep etc which will allow you to overcome hurdles and reach your goals.

3. Training sessions: Where it comes together. We put into practice the physical element of your program and run through your program in the gym.

4. Re-assessment & Progression: We reassess you and then progress the program and exercises every session to challenge you more and create an environment for you to reach your goals.

You will get access to an online portal where you can access all your results, assessments and exercise schedule.

This is usually used with athletes preparing for competition, but is now becoming a great way to train anyone.
Our S&C programs usually run for 12 weeks and aim to increase performance and improve your biomotor abilities such as speed, strength, agility, power, endurance, balance and coordination.

If you're preparing for a competition or an event like a hike or a tough mudder, then an S&C programme will prepare you well for this.

We start with an assessment to test your various abilities and measure your strength, power, endurance and speed among others.
Then we see what you need to improve on and develop a program based on your results and goals.

We then run through your sessions and measure periodically to ensure we're on the right track and peak at the right time.

S&C is also a great way to integrate personal training and I use both as a holistic approach to training.
